Convenient, light weight, very flexible, but not durable. Great for a backup plan, not a tool to depend on. But then it's a 2 pack for cheap, so no surprises.

This pump is the little engine that could -just barely pump. It is sooo slow but what did I expect given the very narrow yet extremely stiff and difficult to work with tubing.

I used this siphon for changing out water for a fish tank and it works great. The squeeze pump works well to get the water flowing and the filter is a nice addition to prevent smaller items from being disturbed. The length of the tube is more than adequate and you may find a better rate of flow if you trim the tube to your needs. Overall, I recommend this siphon if for cleaning out tanks and transferring water.

I am using these to empty a vat of liquid without shaking or disturbing the dregs at the bottom of the container. I did find the hose to be a bit stiffer than I would like. The hose wants to keep its rolled up shape. I am currently letting it hang in the sunshine/heat with hopes the hose will straighten out. This is my only complaint.The stainless strainer at the bottom is nice. They prime easily and the flow is more than adequate for my needs. I do wish it had a clamp/valve to stop the flow without having to raise the end or pulling the tube out of the container. In any case, I am pleased with the performance of this syphon hose assembly.MY PERSONAL COMMENTS:I am an approved Amazon Vine Member. Don't bother ordering this. flimsy and cheap, takes forever to get your fluids to transfer over and it squeezes almost shut on the bulb while you do it. I threw it in the trash,

you do get what you pay for, it works ok.
