I usually use cornstarch with a big powder brush on my roots, but that can be quite messy, and is not travel friendly. I bought this product for the applicator because it’s refillable, and for that, it earns 4 stars. It evenly and precisely distributed product onto my roots, is easy to use, and is travel friendly.As far as the actual dry shampoo powder - I’m not really sure how to rate it! I will say, I’ve never used a dry shampoo that is as strong as this one. It could literally clean up an oil spill in the ocean. It sucked every last bit of moisture out of my head. For me, it is way too drying. It also has a pretty unpleasant chalky feel, and I had to shake my hair upside down to get the excess out.I’d say if you have very fine, oily hair, or are looking for a volume boost, you might like this as a daily product. For me it’s just way too heavy, but I’m still happy with the purchase, and will just refill with a different product!

Love the delivery style, BEST I've used.However, the dry shampoo itself isn't wonderful.It DOES work! That isn't the issue.Adding volume and taking way the excess grease/oil.There is a white residue (really, all of them have it) but it does blend away without a noticeable scent (another plus side).Unfortunately, it leaves my hair feeling like CHALK. In addition, I haven't seen them selling a refill powder for these, just the whole unit.Since the base unscrews, I've been been refilling it with my prefered dry shampoo powder and I get the best of both worlds. I've bought four of these (perfect for traveling).Side note: wish the cap came in a different color. Clear or white would be stylish, blue or purple would be fun. A choice would be a nice option.

Honestly I have tried a lot of dry shampoos because I have a very oily scalp and I tend to touch my hair a lot throughout the day. I was previously using the igk charcoal dry shampoo but didn’t like spending the money for it so I wanted to switch to something better. I was skeptical at first but omg I love it! It’s very strong, so a little goes a long way. My hair does feel thicker and it gives me more volume! I absolutely love this product and will continue to use it! I honestly rave about it to all of my family and friends haha. There is like no scent to it, there is a white cast to it but you just have to rub it in good and not put too much. I love how tiny and travel friendly it is!

I have always struggled with oily hair, I can wash it at night and literally by the morning it looks like I need to again so dry shampoo has always been a must for me. Cans worked well enough but still always left it looking stiff and still "not clean" iykyk. This stuff is a heaven sent. Its amazing and can fit in my purse and doesn't leave a mess plus it adds some amazing volume. I have seen a few reviews for it saying they ran out quickly but I've had it for a month now and use it pretty frequently and haven't had an issue. I do have lighter hair and I could see it not being the best for dark hair because it is that lighter white color but you cant tell on me at all (I have red hair) so if you want it for darker roots I would order some darker powder to replace the applicator with. As for as application my biggest suggestion if you are having a lot of "mess" is don't push down super hard when you are patting the area. It holds a lot more then you think it does in the sponge and you don't need to be pushing product out every time. I would highly recommend this product and I will 100% be purchasing again!

My hair type: Brown, very thin strands but a lot of it.My hair gets -greasy-. Hella greasy, after only 6 or so hours after a wash it'll look limp, oily, and feel gross. I've tried soooo many different aerosol dry shampoo's and nothing has helped for more than an extra few hours. I was spending so much money because of how much aerosol I was going through.I read that my hair type might respond better to powdered dry shampoo instead of aerosol and started my new journey. This was the second product I came across and it has worked so freaking well. With reapplication in the mornings, I can make my hair go 5 full days without washing. However, I'm content with going 3 days and that's with re-application only on day 2.Does this make your hair feel weird? Yes, but so does every other dry shampoo out there. Does it work great? Yes. It doesn't have any smell, it blends well into darker hair and most importantly gives a matte finish.

I’ve used so many different kinds of dry shampoo including aerosol and powder and none of them come close to how well this powder works. I’ve spend upwards of $55 dollars on one named brand all the way down to $8 for drugstore brand.This stuff works so incredibly well on my greasy hair I had to look up the ingredients a couple of times to double check that it’s safe and not made from some crazy storage chemicals.It actually gets 100% safe on many apps that check for harmful ingredients. I love that it’s not being sprayed and getting into my and my family’s lungs and the price point is so low. I highly recommend it.

I have always had an issue with greasy hair. I’ve tried every dry shampoo and every routine to combat grease. This product works so well, I just use the puff applicator to apply it to my scalp where I need a little touch up. It helps with the look and feel of grease and it gives Me much needed volume on those no wash days.My ONLY negative remark is that it does feel a little chalky on hands and scalp after use. I use a scalp scrub after using this product because it definitely feels like it leaves some build up. But that comes with the territory with any dry shampoo.

I have very fine hair and love to use dry shampoo to give me some volume and keep my roots fresh, and this stuff is perfect! I feel like I go through spray bottles so fast and that I get the dry shampoo on way more of my hair than I need to. I love that this is super precise and is going to last a looooong time because I can control how much I use much better. I like the matte texture in my hair because I feel like it gives me volume and acts like a texturized. If you’re looking for a powder that disappears after you apply it this probably isn’t for you

This is a nice alternative to all of the dry shampoos out there that have awful ingredients in them. I enjoy using it but I will say that it makes your ends very dry like straw if you're not careful to apply it just to the scalp. I stamp the applicator only where my hair feels oiliest and I don't brush the product through to the ends. I simply ruffle my fingers through my scalp carefully without pulling too much product through the hair instead and it works perfectly like that. My hair looks volumized at the root and my ends are not dried-out.

I’ve been looking for a dry shampoo that is not aerosol so I can avoid the nasty chemicals. Decided to try this, as the price point was decent, and I am thrilled that I did! I was concerned about how it would disperse through the puff, but it does a wonderful job. You can control how much product is applied by how hard you tap, and how many times. I find it gives me more control than the aerosol sprays. It does make your hair a little gritty, but I don’t mind that as it makes it easier to build volume. It does not dry my scalp out, or make it flaky like some cheaper dry shampoos do. Overall, I’m quite impressed with it and will purchase again!

I’ve been trying to train my hair for 10+ years to go 4 days but i don’t think i’ll ever get there. cue in why dry shampoo is so important to my life.What i look for in a product is effectiveness, i don’t want to have to put a ton of product or have it need reapplying in a few hours. most dry shampoo aerosols last me about a week per can because of how greasy my hair is and that’s honestly expensive and i feel will give me some sort of respiratory disease so I’ve been using a powder from Acure. I love that dry shampoo so much, to date it’s still my favourite in terms of how it feels in my hair. it’s the only dry shampoo i’ve come across that leaves NO texture in my hair. however the price has increased and it’s often not available on amazon anymore so i’ve been looking for a new go to and found this product. W-O-W. This doesn’t feel as nice in my hair as the one from Acure. I’ll be honest about that. It leaves my hair feeling rough and dry but in exchange, i forego having to apply from a bottle which 1. leads to a lot of wasted product 2. is normally hard to apply on the back of the head 3. leaves a ton of powder on my clothes. with this product, i don’t have to deal with any of that and the gross texture in exchange gives my flat hair a little more volume. if it didn’t leave this texture it would hands down be a solid 10/10. The bottle is very tiny but the applicator wastes zero product compared to anything else i’ve tried so i’m honestly not mad about it. the small bottle makes it very portable.Highly recommend anyone to at least give it a try!!

pour commencer, je dois dire à quel point j'ai les cheveux gras. je n'ai jamais pu passer plus de 2 jours sans me laver les cheveux. même dans les meilleurs conditions. je dois avoir les cheveux constamment attacher parce que sinon, en moins d'une journée, ils deviennent complètement gras à la racine et c'est très dégoutant. j'ai les cheveux brun foncé, mince et fin. bref, j'étais à cette étape quand j'ai reçu le produit et évidemment, j'ai décidé de le tester aussitôt reçu. hey bien, surprise. le gras à disparu. j'ai tapotté quelques fois, j'ai renversé la tête, passer les mains dedans pour frotter un peu.et je peux enfin avoir les cheveux lousse... ;)le point gagnant pour moi de ce produit est surtout l'applicateur de la bouteille. qui est très pratique en tout temps. meme en avion. (mais vérifier que la bouteille soit bien fermer. parce que la mienne était légèrement ouverte et ça couler à la première utilisation) et aussi le fait que le produit soit vegan. par contre, je serait partante pour que la compagnie ajoute un produit naturel comme le cacao pour celle qui ont les cheveux foncés. ça pourrait être très intéressant que le produit soit moins apparant.
