Know where and how you are going to mount this
After finding out my new house was built with metal studs, I had to look at different mounting methods. I chose to put two 2x6x8 boards on the wall connected to the metal studs. This offered me stronger mounting surface. I probably would have used this with wood framing too. This allows for a stronger mounting surface for the fans.Vertical mounting on metal studs? I would have done the same thing, but mounted my boards vertically. One thing to be careful with when mounting anything to metal studs. Don't over screw the screw. If you use an impact, the screw may round out the hole in the stud, not allowing the screw to hold properly.I really enjoy the fans. They help me when working in the garage. Having the two mounted where they are gives me great coverage no matter where I am in the garage. I usually leave them on low, but turn them up after mowing the yard or just getting hot and sweaty. My next project is getting an outlet installed under the boards to get rid of the temporary extension cord.

Quiet and Powerful
I have been a big fan of Vivo ever since they came out, and thoroughly enjoyed every tool I've purchased from them. However I bought the exact same fan from Beaver, and this one is quieter.

you get what you pay for
Bought 2 in 2019. Used about 30 hours/week in shop. Both died (bearings wore out) in 2024. We usually get 10 to 12 years out of more expensive industrial models. move a lot of air, but are on the loud side.

Great Cooling Power
Perfect for 12’x12’ Pergola. Easy installation and impressed by the power. Very quiet. I have no problem hearing the tv over the fan on high.

I'm just a fan
This fan has been putting in the work all day, but I can’t help but think—what’s the point if nobody appreciates the breeze it makes? It’s got this way of cooling you down just right, adjusting to whatever speed you need, but does anyone ever stop to notice?Nope, it’s just spinning away, doing its job like a pro, even when no one’s around to give it the credit it deserves. And let’s talk about the noise—yeah, it hums a bit, but come on, what fan doesn’t?If you’re the type to be annoyed by that, maybe you’re missing the bigger picture. This fan isn’t here to be a silent observer; it’s here to cool you off when the heat’s on, no matter how you treat it the rest of the year. You might put it away when the weather cools down, forgetting about it until summer rolls around, but let me tell you, this fan doesn’t hold a grudge. When the temperature rises, it’s back in action, ready to keep you cool like nothing ever happened. So yeah, maybe it’s just a fan, but it’s a fan that knows how to do its job—and it deserves a little more love for that. Trust me, when the heatwave hits, you’ll be glad you have this breeze-maker on your side.
