I have been a fan of Chris’s for a while, really enjoying his content on Kitco YouTube. So I thought I would take a shot and check out this book.I have been trying to learn technical trading for a bit, and I have gone through a bunch of books on the subject but none of them really “stuck”.From the start, I truly appreciated his down-to-earth approach. The writing was not overly technical, which made it accessible for someone like me who is still learning. This book has definitely helped me make sense of technical trading, where other books left me exasperated and worn out.One of the key things I LOVE is his INNER-Market Analysis, which combines momentum and swing trading strategies. The combination of these two strategies just makes so much sense. I was able to use it the next day.I really enjoy his logical focus on market structure, trend detection, volatility, volume, and knowing when to trade. I’m definitely seeing some improvement in my trading abilities. I have a habit of giving into my FOMO and anxiety but now I feel more confident in my decisions. Thank you God I now have a better understanding of position management, controlling my emotions, and the psychological aspects of trading. I’m tired of watching my trading account constantly swing wildly in both directions. The updated edition with recent examples and figures is amazing and really shows how these techniques work.It’s a quick read, gave me proper expectations of trading, and a couple ways to view and trade the market. I’m glad I took this risk the reward is paying off!

This book, Technical Trading Mastery delivers concise information about technical trading. I've learned different types of traders, pros and cons of trading. There seem to be a lot of trading investments showing up these days, and without proper knowledge, it's hard to succeed in this venture. I'm glad that books made it simple to understand trading and guide beginners like me.

Chris documents here a very simple set of steps to identify high probability trade setups and manage the position once entered. From long-term market stages, to current trends, backed up by entry signals based on volatility and sentiment (via volume indicators), traders have some specific tools to use or modify to suit their own styles. And, most importantly, simple position management techniques to blunt our worst instincts of fear and greed are spelled out. The book starts with a fair amount of background on trader psychology and how to address emotions by developing a disciplined trading approach.I also appreciate the brevity and clarity of the book. Those looking for a statistical treatise or financial textbook should look elsewhere. This is a quick read that may change your entire philosophy on investing and trading.

Chris synthesizes proven technical trading concepts from his own experience and those of trading wizards into an easy to read format for any experience level. I have advanced knowledge of the tools/indicators but Chris tied it all together into a SIMPLE “system” (KISS) for generating returns in Bull AND Bear markets. I highly recommend you read this book then read his book on Asset Revesting.

The best part of the book was its very specific and useful trading tips and risk control recommendations offered! This book should definitely be read by all serious beginner traders and investors today.

It is a great book if you're starting to learn about technical analysis. Going to read his other book next, I have been following Chris for some time now and been listening to his YouTube videos and I have learned a lot from him. I suggest reading it if you are If you want to have basic solid understanding of technical analysis.

I like Chris and his analysis so when I bought this book, i was hoping it would be about tricks of the trade relating to technical analysis in a textbook format and since its a small book i was hoping it would be nice and straight to the point. Unfortunately it's not so. This mostly focuses on mindset and psychology of trading, finding what trading style suits your personality etc.. basically the kind of thing you expect to see in the first chapter and skip over to get to the subject. Not the case here. This may vary for others but for me any relevant info starts in chapter 10 and ends at chapter 14 (trade management). In summary while there is a bit of information it's nowhere near enough to justify the purchase.

I now understand the markets and the technical analysis at a level I wished I had known years ago. I am gaining comfort and an understanding of how the markets move and how it affects my investments. Although not planning to be an active trader, it's a must-read for anyone invested in stocks and bonds, just for peace of mind.
