Set of Pliers Wrenches 5 Parts 340 mm, 00 19 55 S4

I contemplated buying a couple of the pliers wrench but when i saw this set at £220 i could not resist buying them as just a mid range one was around £50 it made sense to get the set for around another £170. i was excited to receiving them but soon realised they are not locking pliers and also don't have gripping teeth, and realized they are really for the plumbing trade. So i send back straight away due to the cost, as always Amazon was quick to refund, shame they are a nice set and high quality.

Quality product perfect tool for the job

Well, like me you probably don't require a full set although they do other massive ones. However answering my own question its bloody wonderful knowing you've got them!

Pricey, but you're getting the Rolls-Royce of wrench pliers that will if looked after, last you a very long time.

I use my hand tools about 10x a day Knipex is a over rated tool, 6 adjustable spanner 😂 why? It's an adjustable spanner terrible no sense in it. I have brought a 6" and 8" Bahco and they fit perfectly always manage to get that extra bite. I have sent all my Knipex back, the grips are even worse the handle opens up way to much. Brain dead tool 😂

The pliers wrench is a clever idea and the tools work very well; for me their main usefulness is they give easy access to a range of larger fasteners in a small number of relatively light and compact tools. They work a treat and are well made; from a functional point of view my only real complaint is that they can be a bit fiddly to adjust to the right size. The value of this particular product is difficult to assess though. Certainly buying the set is significantly cheaper than buying each item individually, but there's a lot of overlap in sizes and the two smaller ones are really just toys or curiosity items; they might have value as pocket tools for some people, but that renders the (rather nice!) wallet they come in pointless; I don't use it. I bought it for work and I'm VAT registered so it wasn't an insane outlay for me and the tools do the job I bought them for. However, if you're a DIYer or even a small scale pro, I'd have a think about whether you really need all five of these. Most people would be able to accomplish most tasks for which you'd need such tools with a 250mm PW, and perhaps add a 180mm as well for smaller fasteners. Look before you leap is the gist of what I'm saying, because they aren't cheap!

The best tool in my toolbox. I love these things.
