NOT an air conditioner!
The online product description refers to this as an "air conditioner". It is NOT. Essentially it is simply a kind of "upscale FAN" that MOVES THE AIR but does not significantly cool it. In addition, even as a fan, it lacks vigor. I had it on my desk, 14 inches from where I work on my computer and the movement of air was only moderately discernible. Having said that, it is not a piece of junk in terms of its component parts; it simply is a case of "product hyperbole;" that is, it is touted as being able to perform a task beyond its capability. For half the price, or less, one can get a nice basic fan with a lot more muscle.

Not recharegable. Needs to be plugged in.
The description is not very obvious that it needs to be plugged in to work. Not rechargeable. Therefore not very portable for camping or sports unless you carried some kind of battery pack or charger with you. There are other rechargeable units like this at a similar price. I did not test the effectiveness of the unit, just only that is was not chargeable.
