Could this be used as a knee pad in a canoe? (i.e. I would be kneeling on it for 8 hours in wet environment)

This would be an excellent application for this. I used marine spray glue and cut pads out of this so I'd have something soft to sit on in my plastic 14 foot kayak. I might double up the thickness though.

Is this neoprene nylon fabric?

No, this is not fabric. It is a roll of rubber like material. But it is soft and porous kind of sheet rubber.

I live above a bar and need to soundproof my floor from the vibrations from the music. Will this work?

Sponge Neoprene helps with noise insulation. In terms of vibrations, an additional layer should add some acoustic dampening however we have not tested our Sponge Neoprene for this particular situation.
