This is a very nice cabinet with an attractive black finish. I am very handy with tools and fixing things. This three-door, three-drawer cabinet took me 3 hours to finish. The first half hr was identifying parts, laying them out in the room for access etc. Instructions are picture only, but fairly stratightforward. Follow the picture EXACTLY. I think people get frustrated with the instructions because they try to go too fast. There are a couple steps where the picture is ambiguous, and you can put a part on backwards. I had to redo about 3 of the 30 steps, but didn't get far beyond the step when I realized it wasn't right. The material is MDF not real wood. With MDF, it is super easy to strip out the little screws when installing. I stripped a couple screws. No big deal...work slow and do NOT use a powered screwdriver. If anything, I put screws in too light, but the finished product still feels solid enough. The good part about MDF is that it machines well, so the parts are all perfectly straight. It uses cam-locks so everything comes out straight and leaves the finished product looking nice. You have to use some special care with mounting the drawer guides so they come out straight. The gold handles are a bit cheap looking. We replaced the handles to match our kitchen. The handles are a standard size hole pattern with 3 3/4 inch spaced screw holes. Handles are expensive though. If you plan to replace them, make sure you know how much they cost. Overall, this is a very nice, solid little cabinet. The finish is nice matte black. The final unit is straight and looks professionally done. The drawer slides are solid and smooth. The door hinges are also solid and easily adjust. The unit looks great and is good value for money. It looks like a much more expensive piece. It will last a long time. We really like it.

The quality is excellent for a surprisingly low cost. The assembly isn't difficult as long as you take your time. I found the instructions to be very helpful if you pay attention to the detail in the diagrams. It's very tempting to use a power screwdriver as there are so many screws but don't do it. The cabinet is mostly pressboard so it would be too easy to strip the screw holes. I took my time and assembly went well with no mistakes. I spent just under three hours including a few breaks.

Basically I got the buffet because my apartment does not have much cabinet space. (I bought the taller narrow cabinet for the same reason and they look similar) Assembly was easy, instructions are 2nd grade picture book, all parts and pieces are numbered. There was some damage to the box and a few of the body boards got damaged but nothing visible. The hinges were all bent on the mounting wings, They are standard design so I just bought new ones from Lowes, I also changed out the pulls just because I didn't like the black. One issue was the shelf clips were much smaller then the holes. Trying to set the shelf in place was aggravating because they simply won't stay in the holes. I also bought different ones from Lowe's that fit tight. As far as looks, build quality and assembly it's a great little cabinet for my apartment and I'm thinking of getting a second one for my laundry room. 4 stars not 5 because I had to go to Lowe's.

I am pretty pleased with this cabinet. The instructions had clear and easy to follow pictures and with the amout of items needed to put this together, that was important. I did build this by myself and without much difficulty. It is exactly what I needed to add some storage space in my small kitchen. The drawers glide smoothly and all of the necessary hardware was included. I did place one of the doors a bit low, so it rubs a bit more than I would like when I open and close, but that was my own error. If i had properfly placed, the doors would have lined up perfectly. This seems pretty solid and sturdy for the price and it does look nice in my kitchen. I am very happy with it and feel that it is appropriately priced for what it is. For a small cabinet, i do feel that it holds a decent amount and I now have a place for everything and everything in it's place. Such a good feeling.

Great cabinet for my needs. I have limited space & this product provided great storage. The shipping wasn't included & the directions are extensive & should be used along side the video on line. Take care when putting in the 2 dividing center pieces that the shelves attach to. Make sure the holes to attach the doors are facing in the right direction. It took my husband over two hours to put this together & he has experience as a tech. Not fond of the gold handles, may in time switch them up, but I am satisfied with our purchase.

It’s a nice enough piece to get the job done. Easy instructions. I had an issue with my first order, being sent incorrect parts or incomplete parts but the seller was able to help and respond in a timely manner, which I appreciate. However, you really do get what you pay for so I can’t really complain about the quality. My replacement came with broken pieces that may have occurred during shipping, luckily I was able to pick and choose pieces from the old set to replace the new one with. It took some tweaking and rigging to completely align the doors and drawers but overall it works for what I needed it for.

too more than an hour to put together. However, it went together real well. Had enough hardware to put all together without running out of any plastics or screws, had a few left over in fact. Looks great. The only disappointment was the 3-4 inches lost in size with the base not going all the way down to the floor flat. Really don't think it's needed that much wasted space off the floor. All in all, very happy with the cabinet.
