We wanted a bin taking up roughly the same floor space but with larger capacity and were impressed with the description of the simple 'one touch' mechanism and the tilt arrangement for replacing the bin liner in the container. We have not been disappointed. The bin is very well made in brushed stainless steel, including an anti-fingerprint coating which actually works. Most importantly, the one touch opening works perfectly - no need to bend down as the top is just below average waist height. Or, as the product details say, it can be opened with a nudge from the knee. Closing the bin is equally easy and simple. Not that a kitchen waste bin has to be glamorous, but it really does look the part - fits nicely into any kitchen decor without being over-conspicuous. One minor niggle - replacement bin liners (Code H) are a little difficult to fit across the top of the container but you soon get used to squeezing them on and, being a tight fit, has the advantage of ensuring that the liner does not flap outside the lid fitting.
