It’s one thing to know that this type of product will slightly vary from one lot to another. But in this case, the product is so incredibly different from what is shown on the product page, that I actually had to revisit the page to make sure that it came from this company. What a huge disappointment! I attempted to photograph it but it is almost impossible to capture the true colors of this sample without “color correction” lighting. My photos looked very nice but in reality this sample is so washed out that it is unusable. Heck of a deal…… $10.00 bucks for a sample that is worthless. I bet they sell a bunch of samples to make them money because I can’t believe that anyone receiving this product would want to actually use it. Maybe if you installed it on a huge wall and then viewed it from across the street it may look fine but viewing it from across the room makes it look cheap. I then ordered from a different vendor, a full roll of self adhesive brick wallpaper for the exact same price as this lousy sample piece. I really wanted a 3D type of texture for my project but I decided that by being creative with the wallpaper stuff that I could achieve the effect I was looking for. The full roll of paper was $9.95 and the color quality and the image of the brick was spot on. So with a little thought about how I might incorporate it into my design project of a “SteamPunk” motif I will use the wallpaper for small areas that will also be covered with reclaimed wood from my old fence, allowing the brick wallpaper to show through the gaps and openings that I plan to create. It should look great when I am finished and I will save a fortune on not purchasing this faded out joke of a sample panel that was sent to me. SO DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.
