I was looking to play my guitar/ multi effect pedal through headphones to save the family the agony! Tried bluetooth transmitter and headphones but latency was very distracting. These Philips use RF to ZERO latency. Possibly a small drop in audio quality but with the guitar sound it's nothing to worry about. Proprietary guitar headphones are very expensive. Buy these...

This is a really great product, I have purchased a few over the years, but for the sound quality, comfort and ease of this is fantastic and much cheaper than I have paid for others of a lesser quality

Have to say from the start that these are my first set so no other comparison to other can be made. First I would say read the set up carefully as it can be a little confusing as to what lights should be on and why. If you need this to say plug into a hi-fi system amplifier you will need an adapter to fit on the end of the base unit as the one supplied fitted is only good for iPads and items like that. Two channels to choose from and no idea what for as I could not find it in the instructions. This all sounds a bit negative but once your sorted as I am this is a pretty good item. Been using them to listen to vinyl and CDs through me music system and the sound I v. Good. Gave it 4 stars as with anything working wireless there is the odd little brake in sound, but honestly nothing to much to spoil the enjoyment of being able to prepare the dinner while blasting the music through the headphones and not disturbing anyone else. Overall great for the price.

The Philips SHC5200/05 headphones are really comfortable and the sound quality is very good with good noise cancelling. The 2xAAA rechargeable batteries are included and once inserted in the headphones can be charged via a lead connected to the headphones from the base station. The setup is plug and play. The radio range seems to be about 50m. I wish they sold these modern style headphones separately as we need 4 pairs in all. (I suppose the good news is: the old Philips headphones SCB HCB8305 from around 30yrs ago work well with the SHC5200/05 base station too)

Quality item, which is easy to use.

I will pointlessly praise the very comfortable headset, but won't hesitate in suggesting you don't buy these headphones as the sound quality is just awful. A constant and loud hiss which doesn't go away even when switching channels is continuously there ruining the experience, I tried 3 different devices and all had the hiss using these headphones, but switching to older wired Sony headphones were fine, also there is the issue of interference from various other devices .

It has a good range and does not interrupt. The antenna was in one outer corner of my house, I could go to the farthest room. Maybe I shouldn't comment on the sound quality, I don't believe that everyone has such bad quality, I think I had some defects. The sound was distorted. Even the system sounds of the computer sounded rattling with echo. Very loud background noise as an empty radio station. When the volume of the headphones is reduced and the volume of the computer is amplified, the noise is reduced, but vice versa - when the volume is reduced in the computer and amplified in the headphones, it is unbearable. Earmuffs are very rough. They are like sandpaper for the delicate skin of the ears. They are very annoyingly turned off in silence or reduced sound for a very short time. I wanted to replace my old Philips headphones, which broke in an accident, but this time I gave up Philips. I received a refund and bought a cheaper brand and better quality.

Un très bon casque TV, confortable et avec une bonne acoustique, à un prix compétitif. Facile à installer et utiliser. Je recommande. A noter: Prise anglaise mais livré avec un adaptateur pour prise française, donc pas de souci.

Great sound and easy to set up. Like the volume control on the headphones. Would have been good if the style of plug was included in the description of the product, then could have had the adapter plug before the delivery arrived.
