I used them to secure two layers of landscape timbers together. Worked just as I needed them to do.

First time using star head screw and I am amazed at how well they are built and price is just perfect. They have strong grip and go in to the wood fast to the point where I thought the wood was too soft. I am very happy with it and all my future screw purchase would be from these guys... One thing to note, it doesn't come with the star bit screw driver so you better have that on hand.

I used these to replace hinge screws that no longer had any grip.
