Dye Rubbed Off - Ruined My Purse
I loved this coat from the moment I received it. The details of the leather, the flattering cut, the heavyweight hardware. I immediately wore it and it was great for walking around a cold Chicago weekend. Great until I noticed that there were pink stains all over my favorite leather purse and my knit scarf. Now it was a completely dry weekend - I was not rained on at all - the dye rubbed off while the coat was dry. I tried in vain to clean my purse - gentle soap, warm water, magic eraser - nothing. It's ruined :(I loved this coat so much I was willing to give it another try. Thinking the first one must be a fluke (saw reviews for it on other retailers websites and NO ONE mentioned dye rubbing off), so I requested a replacement. I have to say Amazon customer service was great and sent me a replacement right away at no additional cost. It arrived today and I just checked it by gently rubbing the sleeve against an unstained section of my purse and the dye immediately rubbed off! So back goes the second coat and I'm now without a coat and with a ruined purse and scarf.Maybe the black version won't do this but I recommend to all Amazon buyers to avoid the Burgundy version of this coat, at least from Amazon, at all costs.

This is a really good looking coat. I got the black and have worn it at least a dozen times and the color doesn't rub off. I like it so much I'm considering getting the maroon color too.

Poor stitching
Within 4 days of having this coat, two of the belt loop stitching has come undone. I loved this coat but am very disappointed in how much I paid that the coat is already undone
