BristanAE BSM C Traditional Bath Waste and Overflow with Porcelain Plug

The main body and plug seem to be of good quality, but the instructions referred to parts that weren't supplied, and didn't show clearly how the bath relates to the various parts, the tube connecting overflow to banjo simply split when trying to fit it and the plastic (!) overflow was of some indeterminate gold/black/silver colour that doesn't match the waste.Discussion with Bristan wasn't helped by Amazon's advertising the wrong code.After proving that I had actually bought it Bristan sent a replacement - same colour problem ... STOP PRESS ... two replacements later, Bristan seem to have got the colour right. I have to say that they worked hard to get things right. Furthermore, the "missing" parts seem to have been superfluous.

Beware, the product is not gold in colour. It has a tint, depends on the lighting it looks more silver. Also, there customer service is useless. Amazon, gave me some refund. Im suprised this page is still up with the misleading information. I reported it to amazon and they said they would take it down.

Very disappointed. Its hsrd to find gold/brass taps accessories so I was pleased to find this to replace my existing tarnished set.The waste and plug appear to be of a good quality however the overflow is made of plastic and looks cheap and nasty! Dont think it will last 2 minutes.For the price, I expected better!

This is not polished brass. It looks like chrome with the vaguest hint of brass if you look really carefully at there right angle in the right light and like really squint and use your imagination. Useless.

What a ridiculous item I just bought! Beautiful waste and plug in gold-coloured brass but . . . . . . . OVERFLOW IN NON-MATCHING PLASTIC THAT CANNOT EVER BE CLEANED THOROUGHLY! Why produce two-thirds of a good product for goodness sake!? What a total let-down! Shame on you Bristan! The only reason you got 1 Star is because I couldn’t give you ZERO!
