I have been using this Expanded deck of Gilded Reverie Lenormand cards for a little while. This deck contains 47 cards, instead of the usual 36.All 36 of the usual cards are here, so if, for some reason, you want to do a more traditional reading, it's easy to leave the extra cards out of the shuffle. However, I find the extra cards are very helpful.I love this deck. I'm not entirely happy with some of the images, such as the Rider fixed to a merry-go-round (which seems contrary to the meaning of the card) and the House, the design of which is a bit 'out there' to convey the image of stability and safe haven. Maybe a beginning Lenormand reader should start with a more traditional deck and work into this one, but having the extra cards is great; their advantage outweighs any niggles I have about a couple of the images. Other images, like the Dog, etc, are SO good, though. Ciro's images are always over the top ...folks like that, or they don't. In general, I do.Anyway, for starters, there is an extra Lady and an extra Man included in this deck. So if a reading concerns two people (the querent and 'an other' person) this will be evident. Very helpful.The other extra cards are as follows:Owls ...in ADDITION to the normal Birds card ...wisdom and sound advice given in a 'conversation'Time ...indicating that time or timing will be an important factor in the matterBridge ...indicating connections and/or compromisesDice ...indicating a chance taken deliberately (a gamble) rather than just blind Luck as in the Clover cardMask ...a false face, putting a good face on troubles ...not to exploit others, but to protect the wearerWell ...indicating the matter has depth, and will require digging ...and to be careful what you wish forCompass ...meant to keep an issue on track ...a warning against lack of planning, or diversionsMaze ...indicates trial and error, twists and turns, or the need to start overMagnifying Glass ...indicates a need for focus and scrutiny of details

Mazzo carte Lenormand molto bello..la versione "estesa" da 47 carte con bordo dorato x me la versione più bella delle Lenormand. La scatola che le contiene era ben sigillata così come il mazzo di carte..la spedizione ha rispettato la data di consegna..il libretto con il significato di ogni carta è in inglese..sono molto soddisfatta dell'acquisto
