Excellent for my bench testing (especially for the price). Leads are good quality. Large easy to read. Could use a stand in the back. Get a screen saver for it.

Probes are nice for bench work but bit much for everyday use. Needs some general probes instead of that funky getup with alligator clips (sucks). Love the no touch voltage finder, still gotta be close but it works. I allways thought the idea of a full touch screen would be a good idea.... jury's still out.

Great price really easy handling

The device is fully functional but the screen is to fragile, it gets discolored once touched, I may have to get a screen protector for it if I want it to last.

A good budget starter multimeter. It's reasonably accurate (it matches both of my other meters, but neither are professional or industrial) and easily portable. Rechargeable is always a plus, as I hate having to carry spare batteries but usually have a USB battery for my phone handy. The pointed tips on the leads are fine enough for most uses short of SMD or fine-pitch chips, and it comes with covered clips which I consider a must-have. Screen is easily readable, either indoor or out. The flashlight is workable, but I'd suggest picking up some sort of other light if you plan on working in dark areas.The cons (just minus 1 star as they are more nitpicks than anything): - The no-contact voltage sensor. It's the little bump on the top of the meter. It *works*, but you basically have to place it directly on what you are checking (such as shoving it in one of the holes on an outlet to make sure it's off). It's closest to a live-checking pen. My other meter that shares this feature is really no-contact (a couple of millimeters to a centimeter away). Far enough to trace live wires through drywall. - The connection for the testing leads. It isn't the standard connection most meters use, rather this uses something akin to short banana plugs. Not a real con per-se, but it does make it harder to find replacement leads if needed.

Works great and has so many features

I found this meter to be extremely easy to use to test most anything that a homeowner might need to check while working in a home. It is auto-sensing and will automatically choose the correct measurement settings and quickly displays the reading on the large, easy to view color screen. One quirk is that the bottom display shows the ambient temperature in Centigrade – you can’t change it to Fahrenheit; I’m not sure what value this adds. However, when measuring AC voltage the bottom displays the Frequency in Hertz, which is pretty cool (see my photo).The included probes are nice but are a proprietary size, so replacing them might be difficult.One reason I got this was that it measures Capacitance, which my “professional” meter does not do. I recently used this meter to check my Central Air Conditioner Condenser Capacitor when the outdoor unit was failing to turn on. The capacitor has two sides and the meter verified that both sides were correct (within tolerance) and the Capacitor was not my issue. One side was 5 microfarads (read exactly 5 µF) and the other was 45 microfarads (read 43 µF – within the 5% tolerance). Unfortunately in my case, the capacitor was not the issue – these do commonly fail over time, and replacing them makes an easy fix saving an expensive A/C service call.So I think this is a nice meter that makes it easy to check electric/electronic circuits on a screen that is much easier to see than the typical small black-and-white multimeter screen. The auto-sensing functions make using it a breeze. The measurements appear to be accurate. I like it!
