Bahco 6-342-08-2-2 Hieb 2 Half Round Rasp with Handle, Multi-Colour, 200 mm

I bought it instead of cheaper choices because I have other bahco brand tools with similar handles and appreciate the comfort/precision they give for both small and large hands the excellent handle is paired with an efficient, quite aggressive file that removes material quickly yet predictably

Superbly sharp and great handle for stable sanding of intricate work

I've tried rasps from other makers but this is the one to have. Removes a lot of stock with minimal splintering and can be surprisingly accurate for such a course cut. Used on 38mm Iroko with no problems. Perhaps not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

Tried this on wood and plastic, and it's excellent. It didn't feel quite as sharp as my flat Bahco rasp to the fingers, but it cuts material just fine, and doesn't clog easily. Both the curved and flat surfaces are toothed, and the two outer edges are single-cut fine-toothed too. Good comfortable grippy handle. Toothed section is 184mm long. Made in Portugal.
