Good fast charger with branded look.
Great power adapter suitable to charge iPads and laptops etc via USB-C. Would be nice if it was a bit more compact like other modern chargers but it’s nice how it matches the usual aesthetic of mac laptop chargers.

Works like the original
This seems to work exactly like an original Apple charger. It even looks similar. It's weighty and it feels well made. And it definitely pumps out power, so you get a decent fast charge. In use I haven't noticed it heating up excessively so I have no worries there. All in all I'm very happy with it and happy to give 5 stars.

An excellent and cost effective spare
I've always preferred to have a spare laptop charger in case I leave the main one at work or at home (or anywhere else - it's been known to happen), so this is perfect for that. It recharges my 2019 MacBook Pro 16" perfectly well and works with other devices too (I've used it as an iPhone charger, though I'm not sure that's recommended). It came with a decent USB-C to C cable and it looks just like the official Apple laptop charger, though I don't see why it wouldn't work with any device needing USB-C power. A decent well made and reliable charger which won't let you down (as long as you remember to pack it and take it with you).

Solid charging performance
In a nutshell:Things I liked:+ Efficiency is pretty good- around 84.5% efficient.+ Everything feels well made.Things I didn't like:- If you're charging something at the full 96W, an 85% efficiency means 15% of the power is lost as heat. That's almost 15W of heat, which you're definitely going to notice. However, this is not too bad compared to other unbranded chargers. It's not as good as the official charger though (although that costs £79, not £27).Do I recommend it?Yes, absolutely - provided the price is right. Currently, it's a fairly reasonable price (£27) for an efficient charger. Do look around at other 90W+ chargers first - some of the GaN chargers can even be over 90% efficient, but they usually cost more too. For my testing, it appears to be well-made and solid enough.

Good replacement for USB-C Power Adapter
First impressions on opening the box and inspecting the items were that it's well made. The USB cable looks and feels to be more than capable of handling 96W.I like that the plug is removable and can be interchanged with another if you're travelling although I suspect most people will just plug it into a travel adapter rather than buying a plug for each country they may visit. The adapter and plug (minus the cable) weigh in at 190g (6.7oz) so not particularly heavy. The cable (advertised as 6ft) is actually an inch short at 5' 11" (1.8m). These are normally 2m long which I find a little too short in some locations so the shorter cable might be an issue if your chair or desk is not located right next to a power socket. The leaflet that accompanies the item has, for the most part, been translated well but there's a couple of instructions that probably should have been proof read by another party. One point I found a little disconcerting was "The adapter will generate heat when used, don't let the body contact adapter".The adapter powered my laptop for around 4 hours, running various programs without issue and did not get warm so I'm happy with the product, I'd just like a longer cable.
