Soft close is a plus, but it also makes it a little harder to pull out the door

However, I did encounter a minor issue with the soft-close mechanism that might be inconvenient for households with young children. The pocket door frame itself is sturdy and well-constructed. works well. instructions on a little hard to follow. the latch will not work on most doors. you will probably have to buy a different latch elsewhere take it work.

Ordered this pocket door hardware for our powder room with a 24 x 80 inch solid core door. One of the reasons for selecting this product was the square tube steel framing for drywall. Overall quality of materials and installation instructions were great. Originally, the soft close mechanism did not work properly - it was too difficult to open/close from the rest position. Seller got engaged and their support towards a resolution has been amazing. They are in the process of replacing the soft close mechanism.

Nice quality metal pocket door frame! Hard to find one that isn’t made of flimsy scrap wood. This one is great. Lots of steps to follow for install but if you take your time it’s pretty easy. The one downside with the slow close/open is you can’t adjust where it soft opens once you have drywall up. You can’t reach the part that engages the piston once drywall is on. So make sure you put your door on and test it before putting drywall on.

Great quality! Definitely better than all the big box store pocket door kits and supper easy to install but the door is slightly hard to open and close, I emailed the company about this problem and they haven’t gotten back to me

Bought this product because, the large box stores pocket doors are very low quality, thinking the metal construction would be decent. Installing wasn't difficult, however the roller bracket broke trying to adjust the door. The rollers are loud and the slow stopper was broken when received. The frame is not sturdy at all. With the drywall and pocket door installed, trying to get any help with broken brackets or returning is not an option. Probably going to cut it out and install regular hinge door. Waste of $200. ***Update**** The seller contacted me right away after the review trying to correct my issues. They sent me the replacement door brackets by express shipping at no extra cost.
