Very much like packing tape
This kind can be written on. Some of the self-adhesive brown tapes are slick on the exposed side so the writing doesn't stick well.

Worst tape ever
Doesn’t stick to boxes, it lifts after placed on boxes, did all my packing and went to go put more boxes in the area and several had already lifted away from the box. Not good for packing at all.Update: seller went above and beyond to rectify the issue and mailed me out a different tape that is much better for my needs. Thank you for great customer service.

Tape isn't super thin so quality is definitely there, adhesive is great.Definitely would purchase again.

Not the stickiest, fine for gift wrap
Bought as part of my plastic-purging. Looks beautiful on packages but not the stickiest. You really have to press down on the ends of the tape with your nails to get it to adhere. I ended up not trusting it for wrapping packages that are being shipped through the mail, but for everything else, it doesn't the trick.

Works as expected.
Not the greatest packing tape. Doesn't tear easy, and isn't as sticky as needed for large envelopes. I won't be buying this brand in the future.

Not sticky
The tape is probably fine for some tasks, but for packing boxes it’s terrible. It does not stick well at all. Within an hour, the tape literally just falls off the side of the box. We have to be careful to carry the boxes in a way to hold them shut because the tape won’t do it. I have to buy new tape because this just doesn’t work. Not sure what I’m going to do with it.
