The key elements that provide this welcome effect are the green-colored extra flexible foam heel and forefoot sole pad inserts that are embedded in the plush, surrounding blue-colored foam field material. I ordered these for my husband to use in a nice pair of Keen shoes that he loves. The insoles were worn out and he needed replacements. He easily cut them to the right size and they fit nicely inside each shoe. (For the best fit, he pulled out his old sole and placed it against the new one for an exact cut that fits correctly.) These are not thick and and squishy, rather a thin, supportive cushion with the added shock absorbing pads. They are comfortable to wear and his feet do not get sweaty. He has only been wearing them for a few weeks, so I can't say how long they will last . . . time will tell. This is great deal for two sets of insoles.

Didn't provide the support I needed and felt flat after a 4 hour shift.
