Was skeptical … But …
Was skeptical. But turned out Premium was worth it. Screen perfect. One small scratch on a case back. But that now covered up with an Otterbox anyway. Stays cool. Battery 94%. Performance is excellent and in a form factor that fits, with generational options I am used to and appreciate. Direct image transfer worked perfectly from my IPhone 7 (only reason I switched is memory and apps stopped working with old iOS). Updated to current iOS. Setup wireless functionality first with limited function options, then moved to carrier activation of GSM carrier Consumer Cellular. One caution: phone had two electronic sims installed and would not recognize the physical sim from my old phone. Carrier tech support didn’t even attempt to monkey around. Went right to selecting an electronic sim by sending me an email to scan and activate. All went well; reboot, up and running with an hour total. Electronic sims seem to be “the way” of things with iPhones now (I am behind more than a few models). But seemed fast and easy. And, I got to keep my Home button (last model with it). Phone does what I need, with 5G/4LTE, one good camera, with a current iOS that allows current apps to function, in a non-bulky format; fast, efficient, cost effective and in manner to which I am accustomed. What more could I ask? If that’s what YOU need, get this phone at THIS price range and the maintenance plan. Way less $$ than current generation of phones, without intrusiveness of AI and unnecessary baggage. Particularly for a senior (even if retired from a career in the tech world), this phone just keeps things simple and familiar, but still “plugged-in”.

Better than my old phone
This phone is in excellent condition with zero scratches or dings. I examined the entire phone with a magnifying glass and the only negative was a tiny amount of lint(?) in the charging port - the only evidence that it had been used. I had the SE 2020 for the past almost five years, and loved the phone. Unfortunately, I managed to smash the screen in a freak accident. I was ready to purchasing a brand new 15 thinking that was what I should do, but I came to my senses and thought why? I use my phone for texts and calls mostly, and for taking pictures and some internet searches, and the old phone suited my needs just fine. I like the home button format on the SE, and I don't like having to swipe for everything on the other iPhones. Also, I carry my phone in my pockets on a daily two hour dog walk through very rough desert terrain, so it is exposed to dust, sand, heat, sweat, etc., and it endures all of that and then some. So, I "upgraded" to a SE2022 and went with an Amazon refurbished premium in red, because red was another twenty dollars less (who cares about color?). I got a better phone for half the price of a new one. I have been using it for 24 hours and it is like I never missed a beat. The SIM card transfer and iCloud download was easy and relatively quick - all my data was there, so very little set up was required. The battery health says 94%, which is better than the 83% that was on my old phone last time I checked it before the accident, so I assume it will take a couple of years or so to get this one down to that level, and I wasn't bothered by the old phones performance with the low battery. I am an old guy who doesn't live on a phone like younger people do, so paying a thousand bucks or so for a bunch of features I would never utilize doesn't make any sense. The SE iPhones take great photos, by the way.

As good as new at a 1/4 of the price
What a great deal - The phone I got was just like new - Not a scratch on it, the battery has a maximum capacity of 100%, and it fired right up on my Verizon account via eSim. The battery was shot on my old iPhone and the local shop wanted over $100 to replace it. It was a no brainer. Instead, I got a renewed phone, having a new battery and I was able to upload the latest IOS software. All this at this great price point. I highly recommend buying an Amazon Renewed Premium iPhone.

Good product, not so good packaging.
I recently ordered two refurbished premium "iPhone SE 3rd Gen" phones. While they are both in decent physical and electronic condition and function as intended, I do have some concerns regarding their shipping packaging. Each phone was shipped in its own small box, which included everything necessary: the phone, charger block, charging cable, and documentation. However, the "iPhone SE 3rd Gen" phones are smaller than most common iPhones, and the recessed area in the box is meant to hold the larger iPhone variants. As a result, the phones were able to move around during shipping, potentially leading to damage. Additionally, there were no plastic slipcovers over the phones, leaving the screens completely exposed to scratches from the internal box lid. This comes across as very lazy and cheap. Another issue is that these two individual boxes were placed inside a FedEx box that was far too large. There was no foam or bubble wrap inside this main box to prevent the two smaller boxes from moving around during transit. While I am pleased with the phones and everything worked out in my case, I worry that others may not be as fortunate. Shipping boxes pass through many locations and hands before they arrive at their destination. They have the potential to get dropped and thrown around plenty of times. Improved packaging methods should be considered for these electronics, especially given the amount of money customers spend on them.

Good premium phone for those who want to keep it simple.
Got this phone for my older parent who prefers simple, smaller phones. It came with 99% battery health and looked brand new. Everything transferred easily from the previous iPhone SE as well.

Looks perfect and works great.
Easy to set up. There was no damage and it looks new. The screen had no damage and everything transferred perfectly. My son is hard on his phones so we went with this one. He hates anything slow with electronics and hasn’t complained so I’m assuming everything works as intended.

Outstanding Value on a Renewed Premium iPhone SE 3rd Generation
I’ve had this renewed premium iPhone SE 3rd Generation phone for just over a week and just love it. I replaced an iPhone 8 Plus that I had for over 7 years. It wasn’t getting updates anymore, and I specifically waited for October Prime Days to buy a replacement that was compatible, so that it would be an easy transition for me. Because I have an Amazon Credit Card, I was able to purchase it on a 0% interest 6-month payment plan, making the deal even more attractive and valuable. It came without any scratches or blemishes and with 90% battery too. The Starlight color is nice, clean and simple. I knew that this renewed premium phone would be a bit smaller than my old phone, which is fine for me; especially because it fits comfortably in one hand and is light. It is easy to use, and I love that it’s the last iPhone made with the home button and physical SIM card tray. I just popped out my SIM card from my old phone and popped it into this one. I like that it will convert the SIM card into an eSIM for whenever I need to buy my next iPhone. I’ll be getting updates for a few years, and I saved a lot of money buying this iPhone here on Amazon. I bought a separate clear case that is also a screen protector and will help with durability. Transferring everything from my old phone over to this one was super easy too.

Good upgrade from an Iphone 8
I needed to upgrade my old iphone 8, checked online and this model was recommended. I wanted another small phone, and this one is the same size as the iphone 8. It came in perfect condition, and was easy for this old girl to transfer data with no problem. This phone is much faster than the old one and just as easy to use, so I'm happy.
