Does the job perfectly.
Needed this to convert an outdoor lantern to a plug so I could install string lights on a switch. It does the job and powered 200ft of string lights with the flick of a switch

Lifesaver
The bane of my holiday decorating has always been the light fixture in front of my garage. It's perfectly placed for a bulb/plug, but the fixture is so narrow, it takes a miracle for me to shove my hand far enough in to screw anything into the socket. This item, however, solves that problem entirely. I'm so excited now for the holidays! Very happy with this item!

Great Gadget!
I live in a small townhome and we don't have an outside outlet. With this gadget, I can convert my outside light into an outlet where I can plug in decorative lights and any other electronic items I may want to use oudoors. I love this thing. It's so simple and easy to use, yet it makes life a lot easier. I needed this a long time ago!

Do not use outdoors or in wet conditions
Note that if you buy this device it accepts a three prong connection, but it is NOT grounded (it just connects to the three prong without a grounding). I had asked this question online, then found my answer further down in the description:"For 3-prong plug connection, although there is fuse inside the adapter, but there isn't option for ground connection. Hence do not use with appliance that works with water and which you need to touch"There's a reason you won't find these devices in your local hardware store - they aren't safe.

LOVE LOVE it!!
OK, why haven't I thought about this years ago? I have mentioned several times in various reviews how much I love having good, bright, daylight lights throughout my house. One of the issues I have found with this is that because we are temporarily renting an apartment (than you Hurricane Ian) there is no real practical way to put the nice, super bright lights in our regular room light sockets because they need to be plugged in so we either do not have the light we prefer or we have the light we have extension cords running across the ceiling and down the walls. But this is BRILLIANT! I can; believe I didn't think of this before! "Back in the day" we used to live in older houses where lights, in places such as bathrooms, required us to pull on a chain connected to the actual light in order to turn the light on and off; and connected to that light was usually 2 plugs for utilities such as curling irons. So this isn't really a NEW concept, it is a RENEWED concept of sorts and it has saved me! Now I just plug in the light and there is no need for the extension cord at all, only a way to hold the cord from the light up and out of the way. It is perfect and I love it! And the price makes it s GREAT DEAL!
