Huge sun blocker like a Kasa!
I feel like I'm wearing a Kasa with a tail in this. Great price! Very lightweight fabric and features well thought out. The brim is enormous compared to my Tilley's but just enough to see out from under AND block a low sun. The brow is a bit thin and maybe will not soak up the sweat raining off my dome. Otherwise, comfortable. The light grey is closer to white, which is what I wanted to hold the heat buildup down to a minimum. Universal fit and with an adjustable chin strap AND adjustable headband, thus universal fit. The dome fits snugly against your skull. Not sure I like or dislike that yet.Too early to say much about how well made and longevity or what effects a few washing machine exposures will do to it.I need back of neck sun protection and ventilation around my sweaty scalp and hopefully this will do, otherwise I will mod this to have a solar cell/battery and fan combo. Originally I was shopping for a cheep sun hat with solar powered fans, but those just blow on your face and cost 4x as much. My face is fine! It's my bare dome that pours sweat under a hat, which leaves me seeking nirvana...skin protection from the sun AND sufficient dome ventilation to evaporate perspiration thus cooling the scalp.

It's a sun hat, not haute couture
I bought this hat for sun protection. It does that job well. I wear a size 7 1/2 in hats & this hat fits loosely, so someone with a larger size can reasonably expect it to fit them. The size is adjustable with an elastic cord. It's made of a fabric that's like wind breaker material or the fabric used to make umbrellas. The cape or back flap is made of a double layer of fabric & the crown is made of a single layer. The chin strap is unusually short, which is annoying. The brim is wide enough to protect my face from the sun. The back flap can be rolled up & secured with a snap strap. I find that a little odd because you typically buy a hat like this to protect your neck from the sun. Why roll it up? The slit in the back for a ponytail gapes open if your hat size is bigger than size 7. This hat doesn't obstruct my peripheral vision like some other hats with a back flap. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.

Worth it
Went to universal studios. Got these for my kids. Best thing I purchased. Kept the sun out their face and off their backs. Lightweight and comfortable. I’m so glad I got it

Keeps you cool. Helps you save water.
Likes:+ Great for hot, sunny hikes. Good coverage sure kept my head and neck cool and shaded even on shade-less trails. Keeping cool helped me conserve water too, which helped me endure long, rigorous trails.+ Light.+ Sturdy enough. Had and used for a few months now. No signs of wear nor tear.+ I like the cute, simple design. Monochromatic gray scheme.+ Good protection from heat stroke for long outdoor sunny days.Non-likes:- Due to the wide surface area, it catches a lot of wind. A medium breeze can easily blow this hat right off your head if you don't secure the strap on.- Terrible for playing pickleball. You need full range of motion for your smashes and drives, but the extra wide brim on this hat will get in the way of your swings.

Comfortable and protects against the sun very well !!!
I bought this to work in my garden to keep the sun off my face and eyes. It is comfortable to wear and covers my neck and ears and around my face. The fabric is soft and breathable. It fits me perfectly. I will also bring to the pool or beach when I want to protect myself. The pull string adjust to keep it from blowing off your head. I picked the grey tone but loved the color selections. It appears to be made well and should last a long time.

Serves purpose and the some.
Very effective sun hat. Yes, you'll look silly wearing it, but no sunburned face or neck. I wore mine to my sons' lacrosse tournament. They were embarrassed, so bonus for that.

Nice
Keeps me shaded good, not as warm as I expected. We live where it's very windy, so have trouble keeping it on at times. It does have a nice strap, but the wind still takes it. I put my visor over it and that helped alot.

This is an indispensable item for gardening
This hat is the bomb. The brim is large enough that it keeps my face totally in the shade, and the neck flap down the back does its job too. It’s lightweight and well ventilated, making it very comfortable in the warm weather.
