As a car audio installer who is under dash boards, under a vehicle installing underglow, or looking for that elusive wire under the hood, this light is my new go to. I did like the Klien Tools headlamp, of which I've owned a few, but too pricey, and this one tops it for me anyway, and at half the price! I have read some of the negative reviews here and it seems as though... what? ...are they talking about some other product? Anyway, I surely can't agree. ALL POSITIVE HERE. This light is tough, bright, lasts me the whole day even when I use it a lot and think the battery just can't keep on lasting; it has great battery life. A solid product. Takes a beating and keeps on lighting the way. I have the one I use for work and another at home in my personal toolbox. 5 stars!

The design is simple and straight forward to use. The light weights 2.9 oz. In the headband it is definitely noticeable but is not uncomfortable. The magnet on one end is a definite plus. If you have ever had to work under a car in a parking lot at night you will know what I mean. I very seldom use anything but the brightest setting when I do use a light and this one is really bright. The battery is a KBT 18650 2200 mAh. 18650 batteries are very common and easy to find. Today is June 2, 2023 and the date code on the battery is Jan 12, 2023. This battery should last a long time. To charge the battery you just unscrew the end until the charging port is uncovered and plug in the usb cable. When the indicator light turns green the battery is fully charged. Remove the usb cable and screw the cap back down. The cable port is securely closed to keep out any dirt from fowling up the charging port. The holder grips tight and the light will click each little bit when you move it. It will not slip out of place. The headband is a 1 inch wide adjustable elastic band and will hold the light securely in place. It appears to be very substantial material and the ends are sewn securely. The holder is designed that the band can be replaced easily if needed but I don’t see this breaking or wearing out very easily. On Friday Jun 2, 2023 5:24 PM Eastern I sent a message to the company see if they had replacement batteries. On Sunday Jun 4, 2023 8:47 PM I received a reply from the company that they did not sell the batteries. The fact that I got a reply from the company so quickly on a Sunday nights says a lot about the company and the service they provide. I would not hesitate to do business with the company again.

Extremely bright

I wanted a cheap headlamp that has plenty of power but not stupid heavy and bulky, has a sturdy metal body, uses a Li-Ion battery with easy recharging, has a TIR optic for a broad soft focus light, and the light is centered on my head for those times when looking down a deep dark crevasse under the hood of a car. Oh, and no annoying mode switching or strobe modes. And I'm happy to say that this headlamp (the compact 18350-size version) fit all my expectations. It has 3 output levels, and after it's been powered on for some time, the next button press turns it off, and remembers the mode for next time. So no annoying scrolling through all the modes to turn it off every time. Also the 4th blinky mode is hidden out of the way so well that I never activated it unintentionally, and I don't even remember what exactly it looks like, since I tested it only once when I got the light. So the useless blinky mode stays out of the was as needed. I also like the fact the the charging port is USB-C, and it's protected by an o-ring, as well as having to unscrew the end of the light. So there's no chance the port will accidentally get exposed to to the elements.

Wonderful, bright, and light weight for a long day. Recharging does take a while but it last a long time if you don't always use the brightest setting and no this does not have a zoomable light beam.

Maybe I was just spoiled by the older Everbrite LED headlamps (now discontinued, sadly) that I used to buy, but I expected much longer battery life and much more brightness out of this thing. The battery on this thing is INCREDIBLY lame. That being said the form factor is MUCH more comfortable than the older ones and I will probably just buy a few more so I can charge several while using one. I use these extremely heavily as a mobile mechanic so I can easily burn through 5 or 6 full battery charges in one day. At this point I'm considering buying a few chargers for this specific battery size and a stack of extra batteries and just wiring them into my trucks center console so I can keep one headlamp running, because they charge pitifully slowly as well as discharging way faster than they should for the light output. The mode switch was confusing at first (it has 3 brightness settings, no stupid strobe mode that no one needs, and if you haven't touched the switch in a certain amount of time, it only takes one press to turn it off instead of having to cycle through all the modes like on most headlamps) but I prefer this one now.
