Bought as a “just in case” for skiing last year. Easy to fit and pack down really small. I have an AWD car but the extra grip on the hairpins and hills was really worth it. The resort gendarmes often spot check cars on the way up so worth having even if not needed.

The product has yet to be tested in serious winter conditions, but seems to be of comparable quality to the much more expensive snow sock brand that I purchased for my previous vehicle. Easy to fit. Excellent value for money.

I bought these 16 months ago and never needed or used them before. Last week I stayed at a remote cottage on top of hill at 460m with wintery conditions, I was impressed with the socks as they just worked in the snow and slush up and down 20 degree gradients, however last night it rained creating sheet ice along the steep bending track. Prior to the decent car just slid little control, however with these socks it got my 2500kg electric car off the steep hill side and through an ice covered 2 km trail. We did meet a stuck van and lent them these socks for a extremely dangerous patch of the road and it instantly got them mobile and out off trouble. On the trip I did stop a few times to refit/align the socks after very tight bends but overall I would recommend theses. We used the socks for around 2.5km of ices and gravel tracks and the show very little wear. Only gripe would be I wish the included a waterproof bag to stick them in when you take them off.

I bought these to comply with French law while on a driving holiday in winter. They are compact in their little case, meet the requirements and are lightweight and very reasonably priced. Having used snow chains in the past, these are a breeze in comparison. No they are not as durable and you have to take them off when there is no snow cover on the road, but they did the trick.

The snow socks seem well made and fit the car tyres well. I have always used chains in the past and these are so much easier to fit! Comes with carry bag and gloves. I haven't used on snow yet but will be going to Alps in soon so will update review once used in snow.

Didn’t need to use them as we had blue sky and sunshine when driving out to the alps, although when we did a practice run they were easy to put on.

We had heavy snowfall driving into Flaine in the French alps and these did the trick. great value , simple to put on and got us into resort with no drama!
