Soudal 102853 Silicone Remover, White, 100 ml

I was really pleased with this product. Used it to remove thick blobs of silicone which had been used to glue down a plastic windowsill. You do need to still scrape off the blobs but they come off easily. Meant I could rub down and repaint the original wooden sill, which came up really well.

I bought this thinking that I could use it to soften the silicone around the bath without needing much elbow grease. But that's not the case. You need to use a scraping tool to remove as much of the silicone as possible before applying this solution to the remaining bits that just won't come off. It did a good job and those stubborn bits just wiped away with some paper towel in the end. Needed to apply it a few times to get all the excess silicone removed, but it did the job.

Removed silicone from a bath with minimum effort. I painted it on, left it for fifteen minutes and wiped it off with kitchen towel. That simple. I strongly suspect however, that it depends on what type of silicone is being removed.

Good at removing old silicon. Needed to apply several coats but did work on porcelain tiles, ceramics, plastic windows and painted surfaces.

I’ve used this product before and have had great results without the normal trauma removing silicon around my shower, it makes the job quick and easy.

Die Entfernung einer alten Silikonfuge ist eine mühselige Angelegenheit. Ich war erst skeptisch, ob das Gel wirklich wirkt, ich habe es mit einem separaten Pinsel großzügig auf die gesamte Fuge mit den Siikonrückständen aufgetragen ( den integrierten Pinsel finde ich nicht praktisch) und dann ca. eine halbe Stunde einwirken lassen. Natürlich ist es trotzdem noch eine Menge Arbeit, das restliche Silikon zu entfernen, aber es ließ sich tatsächlich viel leichter lösen. Ohne den Entferner hätte ich wahrscheinlich verzweifelt. Bin froh, dass ich nun das gesamte Silikon mit Hilfe des Gels entfernt habe. Von mir daher 5 Sterne!

Y lo primero es sacar y rascar todo lo que puedas de forma mecánica la silicona una vez que ya queda solos restos. Estos son los que tienes que aplicar este producto. El producto funciona muy bien, tienes que tomar en cuenta el tiempo que necesita para poder ser funcional y también tienes que tomar en cuenta que este producto no va a dañar. En ningún caso, ningún tipo de azulejo, yo lo utilizado sobre gres y ha quedado muy bien. Ya que el clásico uso de la acetona siempre termina rompiendo algo. Cómo, por ejemplo, El epoxi, que tiene en la superficie, las mamparas de cristal del baño
