Petrified fish PF719 Folding Knife,3.34" 12C27N Steel Blade, G10 Handle Thumb Stud Liner lock Pocket knife (Black Stonewashed with G10 Handle)

I still can't believe how well made and gorgeous this knife is. Extremely high bang for buck here. High quality steel that should be very easy to sharpen and hold an edge. And the sandalwood scales are top notch. Some of the more seasoned brands out there will need to pay attention to Petrified Fish, else ignore them at their own peril. Spyderco, I'm looking at you!

I wanted a small pocket knife that I could carry discretely in dress slacks or a hip pack and found this. It’s ideal for my needs, honestly I like it more everytime I use it. The knife is very light, I hardly notice it in my pocket. The action is smooth and blade arrived wicked sharp. My only concerns are that the detent that keeps blade closed feels weak and I have concerns of it coming open in my pocket, although thankfully that hasn’t yet. Also when I first used knife the liner lock didn’t quite catch to safely hold blade open. I loosened the retaining (pivot) bolt ever so slightly and now it catches fine. The first version of knife that I bought had an issue and when I contacted the seller they were very responsive and promptly sent me a replacement knife. I am giving the knife and the seller high marks for quality and service!

Excellent knife that is well made. Wood handle looks great. Blade nice and sharp. Very good, especially for the price.

Sharp out of the box, wood feels plastic, leather pull is kind of cheap. Mechanically it flips out easy but too easy as it feels loose, the liner lock is thin and does not always engage.

Very impressed with how well-made the knife is. It's very attractive knife for the price. The action is butter smooth, dare I say too smooth as it will close with very little effort once the lock is disengaged. I bit the top of my thumb when I was too slow getting it out of the way. So I found out the hard way it's wicked sharp.Definitely will look at other models from this company. I had never heard of them before buying this one. I'm a long-time collector and user of knives.

Well made and sharp! Excellent EDC knife for people that don't like a pocket clip.

You can't go wrong with the price on this very sharp fidgety knife. Thumb stud is so fun! I bought the wood handle, would be 5 stars if I selected the G10 handle.

Great value. Overall, this performs far more then the price would suggest. Great craftsmanship!

The media could not be loaded.  En general podría decir que es una navaja muy bonita pero de construcción delicada para usos de trabajo rudo sin mencionar cortar materiales algo resistentes como cuerdas de fibras duras.Creo que para uso diario requiere una funda para que no se maltrate la madera y evitar que se abra en el bolsillo.Pros..: Realmente es una navaja con un acabado muy bueno, la de madera de sándalo, (cosa que no me hace devolverla), tiene un afilado muy fino y verdaderamente muy fino. El acabado de la madera de sándalo es muy hermoso y me gustó tanto que no pediré el reembolso :-)Contra..: Habrá quienes les sea práctico abrir una navaja con una sola mano pero a esta navaja le hace falta una muelle que la mantenga en su sitio y no tan suelta y libre de abrirse con un solo movimiento que incluso pueda abrirse dentro del bolsillo del pantalón (que ya me ha pasado)Y es el único punto en contra que no me gustó, aparte de que me párese una navaja para usos no rudos y cortes fáciles y ocasionales ya que la construcción es muy delicada.

Navaja muy bien fabricada con buenos materiales,bien afilada con apertura suave,el unico inconveniente la parte trasera donde va la rabiza esta recta tendrian que haberla redondeado un poco,todo lo demas bien.

Excellent couteau : ouverture et fermeture très fluide, les plaquettes en bois de santal sont très bien finies !coupe bonne dès la sortie de la boite , et je n'ai eu aucun mal à obtenir une coupe rasoir avec mes cuirs !la forme de lame presque " sheepfoot " rend le couteau très adapté pour couper sanwich, saucissons ou légumes et pour finir , un vrai couteau de poche pas trop lourd !

Das Messer ist ein Handschmeichler, keine scharfen Kanten oder Grate. Schönes Teil für die tägliche Brotzeit, welches absolut hosentaschentauglich ist.Die Klinge ist scharf, spielfrei und arretiert sicher. Die Griffschalen sind sauber gearbeitet. Aussagen zum aggressiven Jimping am Linerlock kann ich nicht bestätigen, auch keine scharfen Kanten am Lanyard hole. Vielleicht ist das Finish inzwischen überarbeitet worden.Ich hätte einen Nagelhau zum Öffnen besser gefunden, oder auch nichts, da die Klinge heraus steht und gut greifbar ist. Damit wäre es legal. Leider ist der Thumb Stud nicht geschraubt, sondern scheint vernietet zu sein.Top Messer, ich werde wohl noch welche zum Verschenken ordern.
