The product arrived well packed and in working order. It is the exact replacement for my original key fob that finally decided to call it quits. The product did not contain instructions except for directions to links where you have to find your instructions based on your make, model, year, etc. I did not find them useful. To save you time, search for the video "How To Program A 1999 - 2005 Honda Civic Remote Key Fob - DIY Honda Civic Fob Programming Pairing" from PYR Automotive. It will make your programming much easier and faster. I recommend watching the video several times to memorize the steps (because you have to do the programming rather quickly) and when you are ready, program your key fob as you go along with the video. The programming of the key fob was successful and all the buttons work. Cheers.

Not compatible with Honda Pilot
Was advertised to be compatible with early Honda Pilot, gave up after 3 h trying to get it to connect.

Set up is tricky but works great!
A bit challenging to set up. I found a YouTube video was easier to follow. Worked great and saved me a ton of money at the dealership.

Great buy
Remote works great right out of the box. I was unsure about buying this remote because I bought my car used with only one key and did not have the remote. But the remote programmed to the car after watching two online videos on how to. I definitely recommend buying. Great price.

Honda Element 2003. Works great, but with mods
Bought this for my 2003 Honda Element. My original fob has the screw-back battery compartment, whereas this model pops open and the circuit board inside has a battery clip. The fob manufacturer's website says the Honda dealership has to program it, so I took the old circuitry from my old fob, wrapped some tape around it to keep the battery in place, and put it inside this new fob. It has been six weeks, and I've had no issues with my shady-tree fix. Will keep my eye out for the correct model, but this one arrived within a day which met my needs
