Delivered in only 2 days despite being told it would be 7 days. The cage is exactly as it looks, it is light, completely rigid and very easy to fit with just 2 screws. Thoroughly recommend.

I bought this product to try and protect the post from my dog and works great, I've tried other guards and they kept being broken and have found this one is sturdy and works great

Bought and fitted for an older relative who has mobility problems and arthritis. Fits beautifully and catches post well. Having no top it is easy for her to lift the post out, not having to fiddle to open top. Post goes easily in and it saves her bending. Only problem is the door does not open quite so far, but there is still room for her to go out of the door with her walking frame. Quality of finish really good - loos lovely on the back of the door.

Agree that sturdier than other products but frustrates the hell out of our postman. Depth of cage not adequate to catch A4 sized letters so constant battle between postie and cage. Same problem with standard sized if in cardboard backed delivery.

Very pleased with this product was as described. Have fixed it in place and works well. no more bending down to pick up letters and small packages from the floor. You need to be careful of what type of material you are fitting the basket into as you may need to get alternative screws, eg if its a wooden/PVC door screws will be fine, but might need some self tapping screws if it is an aluminium framed door. I would suggest trying out the height you fix it in relation to your letterbox as some larger letters can get stuck and/or crumpled if it is to high above the letter box and if too low, they can just slide over the basket. Hope this is useful to future purchasers.

Found this one better than most as is definitely wide enough for the standard size letter box. Used amazon same day delivery which is a god send when I didn't want anymore post chewed into pieces. Gave 3 stars for it being easy to assemble as I have a composite door so not as easy as wood to drill into but I managed eventually. Would of been easier to have a second person to help hold it whilst assembling but my 4 year old son wasn't much use! Haven't had any post go into it yet so can't comment but it seems strong and able to carry a lot of post. Would recommend :)

As another reviewer suggested, the manufacturer should consider making the internal bars of the cage vertical - as opposed to horizontal at the moment - this would stop post getting snagged on the horizontal bars. Still, its a very good product.
