I use this product mixed with my moisturizer and Aloe Vera on my face and body. I especially like how easy it is to apply and the pump container keeps me from getting the bottle messy. I love maintenance free products like this over jars or unscrew bottles.My skin care routine gets compliments and friends want to know what I use. What is a better review than that.

They state “new and improved formula” yet there are less ingredients in this formula than the last which was labeled Advanced Healing Hands. This new formula doesn’t keep my hands at all moisturized. I will say it smells a lot better, but lacks in any real benefits. Seems as though they’re minimizing their products in order to maximize profit. For that reason I will no longer be buying any Pura D’or products going forward.

This PURA D'OR HealingHands Organic Aloe Vera Gel feels more like a soap than a lotion. It moisturizes very well, just a little off-putting when you use it for the first few times expecting a lotion, and you get a thin, runny gel.

This is more like a serum than a lotion. The texture is jelly like and goes in very watery, then gets sticky before it dries up. I don’t see any discernable difference in the dryness of my skin.

I used this organic hand moisturizing gel for several days on my very dry skin, and I have been very pleased with the product. The gel has a mild pleasant scent, and the pump dispenser works well. My advice is to not push all the way down on the pump because too much product will come out. Just a quick push, about halfway, will give you the small amount that is needed. When I first tried it, I was surprised by how thin and somewhat sticky it is and worried that it wouldn’t fully incorporate into my skin. But even with a large amount, I discovered that if I just keep working it into my skin and cuticles that it will be fully absorbed and leave my skin feeling soft, smooth, and moisturized, with no stickiness. It’s not completely clear from the information presented on the product page, but after reading the label, I discovered that this gel is really a primer meant to be put on before adding your regular hand lotion. So that is what I’ve been doing, with great results. I also love that it’s made in the USA in a solar powered facility.

I get horribly dry hands in the winter. Cracks, bleeding, the works. They can still dry some in the summer, but not nearly as bad. Given that it's summer at the time of this review, I can't fully evaluate how well this works for severely dry skin. Based on how it felt, I strongly suspect it's going to be one of my go to treatments come colder weather.It's extremely slippery when it first goes on, then as it dries and sinks in, it switches to very sticky (typical of Aloe). What sets it apart is that it doesn't stay that way. The sticky feeling goes away in under a minute, leaving your hands moisturized, soft, and not at all greasy or gross feeling.I also really appreciate that it's not strongly scented.
