Works very well. Installation only took about 30 min or less. I'm using it to hoist a 28' aluminum ladder, which weighs around 50 lbs. Lifting it is very easy, but you have to stand right under it in order for the brake to disengage. I don't use the ladder that very often. Usually once or twice in the year, but because of the comments I read regarding the straps breaking with time, I added angle bars to support the ladder. This way I'm relying on the angle bars and not the straps. The last thing you want is for the ladder to fall on someone or something.

Perfect solution for a small space!

I put a big ladder up there, and love that it has a brake at the top, so it's very unlikely to drop. But, disengaging the brake requires pulling directly down from a position below (or only a few degrees off from) the brake. This is tough for me because the ladder is wide. This is the only issue, but certainly impacts what you can put up there.

This works great I have 3 ladders which stacked nicely lifted easily and out of my way. Installation took about 45 minutes

Very difficult to install mainly because of the poor instructions. And it says that it’s for surf boards. DON’T BUY IT!

Holds my heavy adjustable ladder great. Simple to figure out.

We use this to hang our canoe, it’s 16 feet long and 98 pounds, old town, cherished family item, takes up too much floor space so I had to be hung up I am very impressed with this product, it works much better than my own creation from home Depot rope and pulley system

Easy to install. Stores my ladder out of the way in the garage. The only thing I would change is it could do with some quick release clips.

Rope breaks after being hoisted once. We only tried to hoist up a 3x5 m ladder. With a weight from 33 kg

Great product. Used it to store my 32 foot fiberglass extension ladder. Lofted to the ceiling with a little effort, bit not bad. Holding in place perfectly. Instructions were easy to follow and product seemed to be well built
