As the one who cleans all household copper & brass I highly recommend this big tub of Autosol. Best universal metal cleaner. Good value for money.

A lot easier to find on the shelf in a garage than a tube, also more stable when near you, no rolling away or falling into a hard to get to place. A good sturdy tin with a large amount of polish that should last for many years, without getting lost!

Now i have an old vintage boat, it has lots of brass, bronze and gun metal on it. Annoyingly this stuff makes all this green/grey stuff look incredible after lots of elbow grease in the mix. You have to really get stuck in with badly oxidised bits but with perseverance, determination and beer to fuel the efforts it really does deliver brightness back from the dull. Wish i didn't know how good it can polish bronze stuff, as i wouldn't bother otherwise.
