Perfect, cooked great mussels on our gas hob and looks amazing in the kitchen!

It is ideal for cooking about 1Kg of mussels and although it is probably meant for an individual serving, we share.

KitchenCraft World of Flavours Enamel Mussel Pot is a half gallon light metal pot designed for preparing single portions of mussels. The bright red design is a little garish and the pot itself made of fairly thin metal. Light but frankly it doesn't feel built to last. The two pieces both have double handles,useful for giving your mussels a good shake in whatever you have steamed them in, the top lid section doubling as a receptacle for empty shells.All in all it does a nice job with mussels but to be honest its a one function utensil, it's too light for general use and doesn't justify cupboard space for the few times a year when you might home prepare shellfish.

This is fantastic for preparing mussels, I first encountered something like this in a fine restaurant in Edinburgh, The Mussel Inn I think it was called, which I visited when I used to travel there more often than I do today. The Mussels were prepared in the pot and the lid lifts off for the discarded shells. This is exactly like the ones used in the restaurants but for the home market.Its such a nice thing besides doing the job of preparing mussels very well, on the strength of my experience with this great piece of kitchenware I think I will look into the rest of the range of kitchenware as I think it would be nice to co-ordinate them different pieces as an ensemble for the kitchen. Very nice and highly recommended.

Estimados señores. He adquirido 2 ollas. Una me llegó en perfecto estado y la otra con una asa rota. El inconveniente es que resido en la República Argentina y veo con dificultad (oneroso el envio) la devolución del producto para que me reíntegren el dinero.

The Enamel coating looks not good, if you expect it's a looks good pot, don't choose it.
