I have been looking for a small tacklebox to keep in my truck for times when I want to walk the shore and fish with lures for trout/flounder and such. I make some of my own lures and like to try them out when I can. We live in SC an have lots of accessible beaches, marshes, and shoreline to fish from.This little box is just what I was looking for - the lures I make tend to be smaller and fit in here easily. there are 4 boxes on 2 sides for a total of 8 - all the same size about 1 1/4 x 2 7/8 inches and about 1 inch deep.The small size is deceptive and will actually hold a good number of lures/jigs depending on how big in diameter they are.It comes with a magnetic insert which would be great for holding small flies and such, but I don't currently fly fish and my lures don't fall out easily.Great little waterproof box.

Wish they offered a little larger option, too. They seem nice but tiny. Don't know how flexible they would be in colder weather climates to unsnap if needed?I purchased these to house my Treble hooks. Unfortunately only my #6 Trebles will fit to allow closure of the lid. Photo shows my #4 Treble hooks and as you can see no matter the arrangement, hooks prevent equal closure of the lid. And that's even with the black magnetic padding removed. Wish they were 11/4" taller so I could have 1 for each of my trebles. So far my #2 & #4 Trebles will have to find a new home [ho-hum]. They will be good for swivels, snaps, barrels, etc., though.

Really clever design with this modular tackle box. The individual containers are a good size for sinkers, hooks, bobbers and smaller lures. Each compartment is individually sealed so keeps every thing dry while near the lake or river.I haven't seen the slide-together lock design applied to a tackle box before and I gotta say it works great in the this application. You can right size your tackle to just what you're going to need for the type of fishing you plan to do that day, but the tackle you choose not to bring isn't left laying on your workbench, it stays neat and tidy in its own container back at home!I ordered the red and black version so that I could easily tell the latch side of the box (red) from the hinge side (black) so I recommend that to anyone, makes it easy to see which side opens at a glance. A bonus that I didn't fully appreciate until I started using this 'box' is the optional magnate included with each compartment - not needed for all applications, but for hooks and swivels it holds them in place which makes them easier to grab for me.I only wish they had options to order more than 8 compartments at once. Eight wasn't enough to hold all my goodies, but since they all snap together I'll order a second set and double the configuration options for my tackle. Recommended!

These boxes are waaaay smaller than I was expecting (I read the dimensions before I bought them but in person they really feel minuscule). The magnetic bottom comes loose in each box and you can either peel the adhesive and stick them to the bottom or just leave them out if you don’t need that. Another nice touch is that the front of the inside is sloped so you can sort of “scoop” things out instead of trying to get two fingers in there and grab items. That’s a great idea since, as I mentioned, these are micro boxes. I am going to use them to hold bunch of metric drill bits that are currently living in the package they came in because they are too small for any place else and I risk losing them.These tiny but mighty boxes are just the thing for this kind of task. Bravo, I didn’t know I could ever be a fan of tiny boxes but these may have converted me.

This tackle box system is very well made and versatile in function. The box kit comes packed with 8 compartments snapped together in one block. The individual compartments can be separated out and used individually or can be snapped together in different configurations to fit into a larger tackle box.The individual tackle boxes are made from thick and strong plastic that will hold up well for outdoor use. The boxes snap in place securely and will stay put as assembled. There is a magnetic sticker provided for each box that will keep your hooks in place should you drop an open box – a nice feature of this tackle box system. Each box has seal ring around the edges to keep the box watertight and the box will float if dropped in the water. The watertight seal also glows in the dark – a nice feature of the box!Each individual box is small and will not hold many of the common crank baits used by the fisherman. I fish mostly with ultra-light rod/real and tackle so these boxes will hold the small lures, spinners and spoons used for this type of fishing. The price for the tackle box setup is a bit high and the boxes will not hold many common crankbaits, however, the boxes are well built and versatile.

Small Tackle Box is not user friendly at all. Took forever to figure out how to separate the units.

These little cases are awesome and I plan on purchasing more.I use them for a number of different things from 1/4 drive bits, razors, small screws and nuts. Also rc car parts.I like that they can connect to each other so that you keep things organized. You can keep them attached and be ablecto access your parts.The quality is great. They are tough little hard cases that wont break right away or fail like the lid wont break or come apart. The locking latch is also designed well. You dont need alot of effort to lift it open but you don't have to worry about it being opened accidentally. The latch sits flush one side so nothing will get caught and releasing the latch risking your parts falling out.Great products! Also the magnetic sticker keeps alll metal parts secure and from being loose.
