I was disappointed with this product. There is barely any hair in it and will not be useful! I wish I had spent more money for a better product

The color is a bit off. The blonde that I ordered are more of a strawberry blonde. The style is cute and quality is good for what we needed them for. 😊

I bought the blonde hair piece (which is actually a bright strawberry blonde) with the intention of dyeing it since it would not be a huge loss if it didn’t work out. I use L’Oréal Féria in Smokey grey on my hair and used it on the hair piece. In the photo, the section of hair I’m holding is the hairpiece and you can see how nicely it turned out, a perfect match. I really like that this topper is not artificially thick. I’m almost bald right in the top front, but this is enough to cover and lay naturally without looking oddly thick as many hairpieces can. I am impressed with how the hair is layered in place. I noticed it when I put in large Velcro rollers after dyeing it. And something else unexpected is that when it was wet, the hair fell in soft waves, just like my natural hair! I’m looking forward to spraying it with water (or when I wash it) and just working in a light touch of mousse, it falls very pretty when wet, the perfect natural beach look! The texture is healthy, it feels good. It has body and still soft. So why only 4 stars? I just need to figure out how to style the bangs which, to me, seem oddly cut. They are short blunt, chopped, right in the center, longer fringe on either side but uneven. What I mean is that the fringe length starts closer to the center on one side, but further away from the center on the other side. I wish I knew how to cut bangs and give that wispy look. The affordable salons near me will not help because they do not want to deal with the possibility of a customer complaining about a ruined hair piece. Doesn’t make sense to me because why would there be less chance of an unhappy customer with natural hair? And it couldn’t possibly take long for a stylist just to even it up with a wispy look. So, for now, I’m stuck because I don’t know how to do that and I don’t want to take the chance of messing it up, since the rest of the hair piece is so nice. I don’t know if mine is unusual or if this is the way they are all made. But if you’re OK with cutting and styling bangs, you will do well to get this piece, just in case you get one like I’ve described. Or you might know someone you know someone who can help you out. At this point I don’t personally know of anyone, but I’m going to be asking around because I would really like to wear it.UPDATE 8-12-24I snipped a little at a time until I evened out the bangs and made them look a bit shaggy instead of blunt straight across. I get compliments all the time! No one can tell it’s a hairpiece not even my adult daughters! They were amazed to find out! You can style with curlers, flat iron or curling wand. Gosh, for the first time in years I feel nice when leaving the house. I really recommend buying the blonde then dyeing the color you want. Up to 5 stars!
