The umbrella is really great at protecting you from the sun. It's easy to use and extremely sturdy during winds. But the button does get stuck sometimes. But if you hold the umbrella straight and push the top all the way down (as if you were closing it) and you do that a few times, the button will get unstuck Outside of that, this umbrella is practically perfect for shade, sun protection, and keeping cool during the heat

This umbrella really blocks the sun, and the heat from the sun. This umbrella is a good idea if you are supposed to avoid sun exposure. I need it when I want to be outdoors in direct sun for a length of time, walking or going to yard sales with friends. It keeps me comfortable and saves me from wilting in the heat. The floral print is very pretty and attracts compliments.

I bought this to use as a parasol, I burn very easily and have a low tolerance for the heat and am always seeking shade. I went with the white umbrella with pink interior, the colours are really nice and the material is thick and durable providing good protection. I’ve also used it in a rainstorm a few days ago and it completely held our the rain. You do need a bit of strengthen to push it down back into the handle and it’s smaller than a standard umbrella so you couldn’t squeeze two of you under it when it rains. The metal pole could’ve been a little longer too. But overall very happy with it, it doesn’t seem flimsy at all.

Bought the "Navy" version of this umbrella back in February 2024. The color was actually more of a periwinkle, which is what I preferred. It worked beautifully in sun and rain ...until Storm Boris in Vienna, Austria, in September of 2024. After a day of blasting wind and rain and multiple inside out blowouts, the storm finally broke one of the metal ribs. Luckily I had a 2nd sun umbrella for the rest of the trip. Now that I left that behind in Florida, looks like I will be ordering new ones of both styles.

I only used this umbrella for sun protection occasionally. It did not even get caught in wind storm. It broke just after the warranty. Really poor quality, what a shame since it is pretty and looks good

We bought these for our trip to Death Valley in august, when temps were in the 110s. Sun exposure and dangerous heat warnings were posted all over the park. These umbrellas kept the sun from beating directly on our heads and shoulders. Using these sun blocking umbrellas along with white sun blocking clothing and hats and lots of water, we could stand the elements for 15-20 minutes. Without the umbrellas, we were utterly miserable in less than five minutes. The desert sun feels like it’s cooking your brain. The umbrellas really helped. Plus they were easy open and close, which made getting in and out of the car very simple.

The colors are vivid, so I love that. Easy to put up or down. It really keeps the heat of me & I just used it in 90 degree weather. Over all I really like it...... Update Oct. 2024: I wanted to use my umbrella today (I've only had it a year) but the button for pushing up or down would not work. I have only used this umbrella MAYBE 6 times so it hasn't been over used by far. I'm really disappointed because I really like it. It definitely kept the heat off of me in the summer. I think I would have liked it a little more compact, too, so it would have fit into my purse better.
