lovely quality sensitive skin set
This looks and feels like a real good quality product. This 5 piece set comprises of; Face Cleanser, Mask, Moisturiser, Overnight Balm & Mask BrushIt's vegan and cruelty free. All of the products are good quality and although my skin is highly sensitive it didn't cause me any issues whatsoever. The moisturizer is absolutely beautiful and I would be looking to use this all the time.I think the brush is a bit of overkill, And I'm thinking purely from an environmental point of view it's a bit unnecessary. However it's a lovely set and anyone would be pleased to receive this as a gift.

A simple, well disclosed and put together set without lots of unnecessary plastic packaging
This got a big thumbs up from me even before it arrived : ingredients fully disclosed on the product page,This was most likely to mean anyway an HONEST product. The dishonest ones (probably a majority) blare scream and trumpet their lovely natural ingredients (because these now sell product) but there is no full disclosure of exactly what is in there till it arrives, and has to be by law, disclosed on bottle, box or jar. It is almost ALWAYS the case that the honest manufacturers fully disclose, and any supplier NOT disclosing on the site is likely to contain ingredients some of us might choose, want, or need to avoidAnyway, this is lovely, the ingredients are mainly just the simplicity (and therefore natural complexity) of botanicals. Read those ingredients online, and research anything you might not recognise and might want to avoid (or not)I really liked the clean, clear, simplicity of the packaging and how absolutely lovely this felt on my skin. NO irritation, no feeling of clogging. The neat identification on the boxes of exactly which stage of skin care each product belonged to - eg clean eg cleanse - prebiotic and avocado gel, treat - moisture complex and algae face mask , moisturise - colloidal oat meat and oat lipid moisturiser and protect - overnight balm and when it was best used, was a real bonus too. Often it can be remarkably difficult to negotiate what can and should be best used when, as times have shifted dramatically from the old cleanse, tone, moisturise DONE! daysThe only downside I can find - and one which is unavoidable really, is a MUCH shorter usage time than most skincare products, after opening. 6 months is suggested. If you think about it a bit though, all those bottles and jars of face creams etc with a much longer shelf life will be crammed with all sorts of preservatives against mould and degradation. Surely its not THAT good an idea to be absorbing them.Using some kind of spatula, cleaned each time, to scoop out the cream from the jars rather than your fingers is probably the best way forwards!

Starting to see a difference in my acne
My face has slowly started clearing up. My oily tzone is doing a lot better and the moisture is good enough to stop me from flaking too. I like how gentle the cleanser and the toner is. The paste helped the redness of my spots, but didn't really reduce the size of my spots

Lovely range and a good price
I love the simple packaging on this- it reminds me of Lush, but unlike them I can safely approach this product without a gasmask to prevent all the soapy smells. These 4 products are for sensitive skin, and as I am a sufferer, I love trying stufffavourably to all the products, and not much is needed per application- cleanser, moisturiser, face pack, and overnight balm. The balm is very heavy duty, and too much for my face, but great for dry skin on my body, and it really locks moisture in. The little spatula/ brush combo you get is a nice touch too. Everything is bright, simple to read, and explains what it is and when to use it. In addition, it is vegan friendly, and made in the UK.

Mixed feelings
I have so many mixed feelings about this skincare set. There are parts of it that I absolutely love, and then on the other hand, some that I don’t.The set comes in a Beaty Bay branded box, if you’ve ever ordered anything from Beauty Bay, you will recognise the packaging straight away. The Sensitive Skin starter kit comes with face cleanser, moisturiser, overnight balm and a face mask with brush. The ingredients are really good, products are fragrance free and very suitable for anyone with sensitive skin. It’s a complete, full skincare regime, perfect if you’re unsure how to compose one yourself. The current price for all five products is £34.Positives:- The chamomile and oat moisturiser is the star of this set. Rich, thick, very hydrating. I use it mostly at night due to how thick it is, I wake up with skin that’s smooth, hydrated and so soft. This product is one of the better moisturisers I have ever used.- £34 is a really decent price for a whole skincare regimen. It works out less than £7 per item, which in my opinion is a really good value.- It’s a no nonsense set. No gimmick products that you don’t really need like toners or mechanical scrubs. I would love to see addition of SPF though.- The overnight balm is quite nice and really gentle. Products with acids are amazing, but might be really harsh on sensitive skin. This balm’s formula is very gentle on the skin.Negatives:- The mask is just not for me. I feel like it doesn’t really do anything apart from leaving the skin super greasy. It’s a leave-on mask, I used it overnight and my face still looked really greasy in the morning. Once removed I really don’t see any hydrating effect.Neutral:- The brush is ok, nothing special. Good for clean application of products, but it’s not really a necessity. Again, I would prefer an addition of an SPF product instead.- The cleanser is just ok. I might be biased here as I do prefer foaming cleansers. It’s ok if you cleanse your face in the morning, however I found that it’s not very effective to fully clean the face with any prior residue, even using as part of double cleanse routine. It is nice and gentle though, very easy application due to the pump.Overall, it’s ok, could be better but it’s still a great set for anyone who want some to add hydration boost to their sensitive skin. I’d recommend it, however some of it might not be for you 👍🏻
