From director Joe Wright (Atonement, Pride & Prejudice) comes Pan, a live-action feature presenting a wholly original adventure about the beginnings of the beloved characters created by J.M. Barrie. Peter (Levi Miller) is a mischievous 12-year-old boy with an irrepressible rebellious streak, but in the bleak London orphanage where he has lived his whole life those qualities do not exactly fly. Then one incredible night, Peter is whisked away from the orphanage and spirited off to a fantastical world of pirates, warriors and fairies called Neverland. There, he finds amazing adventures and fights life-or-death battles while trying to uncover the secret of his mother, who left him at the orphanage so long ago, and his rightful place in this magical land. Teamed with the warrior Tiger Lily (Rooney Mara) and a new friend named James Hook (Garrett Hedlund), Peter must defeat the ruthless pirate Blackbeard (Hugh Jackman) to save Neverland and discover his true destiny—to become the hero who will forever be known as Peter Pan.

Wierd and wonderful and not what you'd expect
A totally different side of the Peter Pan story. Unique and imaginative. Non stop action packed and Hugh Jackman like you've never seen him before. A talented cast and brilliant production.

Unbelievably BAD!
Easily the worst movie I've ever seen, makes Godzila 3D seem like a good movie. Only a few good 3D moments, the rest of it is unwatchable. Bad from start to finish, the story, the dialogue (all the clichés you can think of glued together), the (over)acting, the scenery(fibre glass, plastic, painted on). There is just nothing about this film that could be praised or recommended, it is just annoying to the point of being nauseating. Avoid

Peter Pan - The early days.
If you're familiar with the Peter Pan story where Peter battles Captain Hook to save Neverland & the Lost Boys then put that it out of yuo're mind. This story is set earlier on in Peter's life & Hook (before he became Captain & lost his hand) is Peter's friend, both battling the notorious pirate Blackbeard played brilliantly by Hugh Jackman.

It's not an adaptation, it's more like a prequel
If you are familiar with the Peter pan story at first this film is really confusing, especially with Hook as a good guy! But by the end you start to realise it's the story of how peter first got to neverland, before all the other versions are set, at the end it kind of leaves it open for a part 2 explaining how they became enemies, but clearly that film never got made.

A great watch for the whole family, I felt like a kid again and my kids thought it was fantastic! The film is fun, clever and exciting, bringing another level to the Peter Pan story that I had never even thought of, now I am looking forward to the sequel, to find out what happened next!Guy (37)
