Works perfectly without a neutral wire
I used this to add smart control to a traditional wall switch (no neutral wire) controlling ceiling lights. Setup was straightforward once wired correctly: L IN from the breaker, L OUT to the light fixture, and S1/S2 connected to the existing wall switch (which now works as a momentary trigger instead of directly cutting power). Pairing with Zigbee2MQTT/Home Assistant was quick and stable — great signal strength once connected. Highly recommend having a nearby Zigbee router device (like a smart plug) if your setup is far from your coordinator, as it noticeably improves connection reliability for these no-neutral relays. One tip for others: use proper wire ferrules when connecting to the small screw terminals — the terminals are compact and ferrules make for a much more secure connection than bare stranded wire. Overall, does exactly what it's supposed to do. Compact size fits easily in a standard wall box.

SONOFF! Where have you been?! ;)
With older homes with no neutral, these are the ticket! Simple to install, fit great in J-boxes. They take up much less space than an all-in-one smart switch. Home Assistant made pairing a breeze. When controlling through the HA dashboard, they are instant on or off, unlike Zwave. They are not dimmers, they are ON or OFF. No flicker when used with LED lights. The use of the existing light switch has been nice. You will have to make jumper wires to connect the physical light switch to the Sonoff controller. Since installation, I've not had any drop off the network and disappear. These will be my go-to in future installations.

Works for the most part
Works for the most part. Sometimes disconnects but later reconnects on own.

Works great, solved a long-standing challenge
I am incredibly happy with this purchase. If you’re looking for a very small form factor to add smart capabilities to a device with no neutral wire, this is perfect. I was able to fit two of them into a single gang space with a dual rocker switch (very, very tight fit but… it worked). My specific installation was to solve two light switches from different circuits, no neutral on either, in a single gang box. There are many dual switch solutions available if both switches are on the same circuit, I have found none that work with separate circuits (and I have been looking for years). Another requirement I had was the switch needs to work with no smart connections as well - it needs to function as a dumb switch if the smart connectivity is down. My initial test worked perfectly. I used the wiring diagram from the Sonoff website for “Wiring with One External Switch Control” where the rocker switch connects S1 to S2 (not the option where S2 connects to L in). I am using Home Assistant and the Sonoff device was immediately detected from about 40 feet from the base (I often find I need to get close to the base for initial pairing) and the pairing process worked seamlessly. And the best part is, the rocker switch did exactly what I had hoped - it turned into a toggle switch (so whatever state the light is in, the switch will toggle it). I was concerned that the switch could turn into an override (e.g. if the switch is off, smart functions don’t work). I love this device and will likely use it to give smart capability to a few devices that I assumed would never be online.

Amazing device to retro-fit old lighting circuits (After fixing one gotcha)
Living in an older home, not all of my switch boxes have a neutral. This little devices comes in clutch that allows me to add no-neutral lighting to my existing smart home. One thing to be aware of: If you wire in a physical switch (SW1 and SW2), by default the device acts as a "momentary switch". You need to press the button on the Sonoff 3 times and the device will blink and change to the toggle switch mode. Took me a while to figure this out - I thought my wiring was defective or the device was bad at switch detection. Glad that is not the case. Highly recommend this product for older lighting circuits.

Best wall switch automation in a zigbee network
This is a great choice for adding smart functionality to a standard light switch in a functioning zigbee mesh network. It incorporates both remote control and local switch functionality seamlessly. When you change the load to ON or OFF from the wall switch, the state is reflected in the network (in my case, ZHA in Home Assistant). Once installed in ZHA, remote control and automation is easily achievable. It was the best choice considering price and function for me after considering several smart wall switch replacements.

Excelente Hardware, Pésimo Software
La aplicación de eWeLink necesaria para operar este aparato deja mucho que desear en términos de seguridad e integración.

No funcionan
