This microneedling kit was (and is) pretty intimidating at first, but between the instructional information it offers and the help of some YouTube videos, I was able to figure out what I was doing, and then do it with some confidence. I experimented a little with the different needle lengths (it comes with six) and speeds (again, six options), and used my own favorite serum with it, and I really liked the results. It wasn't painless, but neither did it hurt, exactly, though it did make my face pretty red for a while. I have some experience with a derma roller, so my skin is kind of used to the sensation of needles, so maybe that helped. I'm not sure I really know how to use this set to its full potential, but I dove into the deep end and didn't drown! I'll definitely keep using it because I have heard and seen such good results over time for other people. Dr. Pen made it easy to try microneedling, and I love that it came with almost everything you need to get started! (You will still want to use your own products with this kit, like a hyaluronic acid and something to soothe irritated skin.) Five stars!

I have gotten my micro needling performed in the salon and have wanted one since this is the brand that they use. Charging the pens took less than an hour, but the instructions call out for a two hour charge. There is an "F" displayed when it is fully charged. The pen can be used with the charging cord to power it per the instructions but I opted to use it cordless as the cord seemed to pull the pen in directions I didn't intend for it to go. This is authentic and does have the QR code to scan it for authenticity. I did started with washing my face and neck thoroughly. I put on gloves and wiped down the pen with rubbing alcohol. I also wiped down my face with sterilized gauze in rubbing alcohol. It is important to not put bacteria into your skin via the needles so proper preparation was important for me. I did use a facial serum with peptides. There are many but this was my personal choice. Operation was pretty straight forward. I did change the depth on different areas of my face and neck as the depth. There are a plethora of instructional videos online and I would encourage the use of researching as much as possible before starting in on this endeavor. I am still healing up from my first at home treatment and will do a follow up treatment in 4 to 6 weeks which is what is recommended. I am happy with the results and am super excited to incorporate this into my regular routine.

This M8S Dr Pen came with everything you need to get started. It can be a bit intimidating. You can find some online videos to help you get started. Be sure to fully charge the pen until you see the F. I prefer to use it cordless, it’s easier to handle. Make sure you follow all of the sanitation rules. Keep everything very clean. It takes a steady hand. It did cause some redness and irritation but healed in couple of days. I think it will take several sessions to see results.

I really liked using this needling device. I can tolerate the needles so much better than I can using a roller. It was easy to charge and follow the instructions in the little pamphlet. I already knew not to concentrate too long on any one area, so I started off at a low depth and increased it in the recommended areas. At first I didn't think it was doing much since it was fairly comfortable to use, but be careful not to over use it because a short time later my face was quite red. The redness subsided later in the evening but was still redder than normal the second day, which I covered with powder. Plan your treatments for when you can hide out a bit.This tool seems well built and should last a long time. It comes in a white plastic case that you can store it and the needles in. I searched on Amazon for replacement cartridges and found they are readily available at reasonable cost.I recommend this Dr. Pen needling tool.

I have owned other brands of micro-needeling tools in the past, but I have to report that this one I love the most. It is very sturdy, heavy and well made. The needle cartridges have 3 support points which keeps the needle head in place very well without slipping and twisting. It charges up very fast and can last to up to 4 hours. The use is so simple and easy. I am especially a fan of nano-needling and depending on what beauty product (serum) you use it provides almost an instant visible effect. The 6 speeds allows easy control. The end where you charge the pen is flat and allows you to stand the pen upright when in use.If you are into micro needling and nano needling then this is the tool to have. It comes with a convenient storage box and overall is a quality product. I am definitely getting rid of my old plastic pen and will keep using only this. Very satisfied with the product itself and treatment results as well.

This thing is serious! To be honest I’m a bit afraid to use it, but I’ll get there. Everything is pristine.

This is actually a very nice itemI've only used one other brand before and this is definitely better then that oneit charged very fast and stayed charged for a long timemy only complaint is that its not easy to grip for meI do have the beginning of arthritis and some small things are hard to hold ontoif it was a little wider that could be easierbut otherwise it was very good - came with all atachement's needed as well

The media could not be loaded. I like how this set came in a storage container with everything inside. The pen is quiet when running and fits well in my hand when holding it. I also like how it came with extra tips. Great gift idea!
