Taking a cue from the grips and mounts available to Smartphone Filmmakers, SXHyf has really come out with probably the ultimate positioning unit for attachment to the rearview mirror. My car has a typical beefy rearview with temp and compass, auto-dim, etc, so I wondered if the unit would fit. Yes. Yes it does. It fits tightly, secured by locknobs, ball joint, elbows, and clamps. It looks like a face-hugger from Aliens. And it holds like one, too! This device is actually a breeze to set up and looks like about $400 worth of fine film equipment. And yes, I have used it to film with my iPhone 15 Pro with SmallRig cage attached. I can't say enough positive things about this sturdy - though plastic - device. Not even aviation and truck stops have anything this good. Awesome device!

This phone holder works great. Very helpful when using Wave Navigation. The dash mounted holder’s wouldn’t stay mounted, and fell off after a while, especially after detailing the interior of my car. Was easy to install.

This is awesome It works so much better than all the others I have tried. It is secure, easy to move in any direction.

I bought this for my dad, he works with DoorDash and Grubhub so he depends on a phone holder. Before I got this one he had one that suctioned to the windshield. If it got too hot or too cold the phone holder would fall off. I thought a mirror phone holder would be better and it really is! The rotation is very smooth and not super stiff but not super loose. The installation took only 5 minutes and was very minimal. Overall amazing product I would 100% recommend this to anyone!

Phone is to heavy for it causing the mirror to shake and mirror to move out of position.

Does not keep phone steady. Needed to put a spacer rod on the back of my mirror to try to keep it steady.

The product is sturdy, works well, and is not too hard to mount, but it blocks the view out of the windscreen to the point that I prefer to use a phone holder mounted on the air vent.

Very good and effective especially in Middle East Asia where we have extreme summer temperature. Adhesive or sucktion mechanism to dashboard glass is not long lasting.

Sturdy item, useful, without blocking your view. Served my purpose well.
