Vidal Sassoon Hydra Shine Straightener

I bought these for my wife as a kind of stocking filler for her birthday, she was going to buy some GHD ones, I'm not going to say they are GHD quality please don't get carried away, but what I did say was don't spend over £100 on something and then not use them much, try a cheap set and if you find that you are getting the use out of them, then upgrade.So I went with these.I have to say, she has naturally curly hair, but these really seem to do the job, and the quality is really very good, screen looks great, it makes them look higher value, lads if you want a gift that looks like it costs more than it did, these are perfect!!! ;-)She seems happy with them, I was very happy with my purchase, so happy days.

I bought this as a birthday present for my friend- who really wanted a hair straightener. This product had been recommended to me by a hairdresser and I had high expectations of it; and I was more than satisfied with the product! The delivery was fast and the product was very well packaged and ready to wrap. The straightener itself is brilliant: my friend and I both love it as it gives the hair a nice shine (though not over the top) and can also be used to curl hair. As the heat and other settings can be changed, it is optimal for the hair and doesn't damage as much as other straighteners- though all straighteners damage hair in one way or another. I would definitely recommend this to any girl with long hair that might be difficult to straighten!

very quick delivery. this product was a very good bargain - I paid much more for my previous straightener, which was the same model. The only thing that could be trouble is the little dial with which to open and close the straightener, which is extremely stiff and difficult to use so I dont think i will be able to use it - but at the price I paid I wont let it worry me.

If you're looking for a cheap set of straighteners you can't really go wrong with these. They're a bit flimsy as you'd expect for the price and the LCD screen is a bit naff, but in terms of doing the job of straightening your hair they do a perfectly good job. My wife had GHD's but constant twisting of the cable caused them to break, these are doing the job 90% as well for 20% of the money.

Love these straightener 2nd pair purchased they do the job excellently for my very fine hair. Best straighteners I have used.

Im not to sure on these hair straighteners. Im sure they don't get right up to heat as it takes many repeated attempts at straightening but...once you have spent the extra time doing that you do end up with lovely shiny hair. Maybe I have a fault with the heat on mine? The plastic smell someone else mentioned does happen and to get rid of that simply turn up high and leave for a while and it eventually burns of. Other than the length of time it takes to straighten they are not to bad

Have it for a week - working fine, ajutable temperature, ion mode, hair looking amazing, would recomend to buy it and the price is very good!!!

Brilliant straighteners, quick heat up and adjustable temperature settings, looks pretty slick too for an amazing price and quick dispatch!
