ACTIVATOR Walking Poles for core strengthening, Stability and Off-Loading

These have changed my life. At 89 years of age I found walking very tiring and my back ached. With these poles I am able to be more upright which alleviates the back problem and I am striding out as the poles help with balance and seem to adjust the weight more evenly. Now I try to walk outside every day and am really enjoying it whereas before I had to make myself venture out as I knew how uncomfortable I would feel. These poles are the best value for money

I have mobility and balance problems and foot drop due to neuropathy, and assumed I'd no longer be able to go hill walking, which was previously one of my hobbies. Since getting these walking poles last month, I've felt far more confident when walking - I guess they're like stabilisers for a bike! I've been walking on paths (and even across fields) that I thought I'd never see again. I should add that I'm having treatment for my neuropathy, so that's improving in its own right, but the fact that I can get out and exercise and build up my strength is also helping my symptoms improve. Fantastic and highly recommended - well worth the price.

I have Parkinsons disease with balance problems. These poles have given me confidence to walk further and with better pace. The handles are a great design feature,ensuring that there is no muscle tension in hand, arm or shoulder. The ferrule on the bottom ensures a firm plant of the pole. Adjustment of length straightforward. Arrived very quickly. Worth every penny!

Bought for my dad who just had a small stroke. These have been a great help in his re-hab. Easy height adjustment with failsafe adjustment. Very pleased with the product.

Very good stable

I have only used these poles for a short while, but can feel they are keeping my body in a better alignment than the single walking stick I'm used to. My GP suggested they would probably be better than a stick and I think time will prove her to be correct. Well made and fast delivery.

My Physio suggested I buy the activator poles to improve my posture, as after two operations on my right hip I was tending to lean to the left and my co-ordination was off. As soon as I started using the poles my posture improved, as did my co-ordination. Should also mention delivery was very quick.

Fabulous sturdy poles, recommended by my friend who Nordic walks everyday with hers. I have arthritic thumbs & these help them due to no wrist ties so much better for my thumbs & wrists! Definitely walking faster now!
