Garbage Trucks (Pull Ahead Books ― Mighty Movers)

I know every word of this book by heart, because my son adores it! I love that it has photographs of the garbage trucks and details the different parts like ... The driver sits in the cab. The garbage goes "plop plop!" In the hopper. The hopper is in the back of the truck. The lever works the blade which squishes the garbage and makes room for more garbage. It's very informative and he is absolutely enchanted and wants to read it again and again. I'm grateful because it's not an annoying book at all and I like the sounds in it like "kerplunk kerplunk", "honk honk" and "Va-room Va-room!" Very fun and informative for this toddler.

There was another review that states the pictures are a little outdated. This is true. There’s not much to the book, but it generally talks about how a trash truck works. My 2 year old son LOVES this book. He can now accurately describe where trash goes and how the hopper works. For the price, it’s worth how much my son loves it.

My toddler is obsessed with garbage trucks and this is his go-to book to read about them. He loves learning more details about the types of garbage trucks and where the garbage goes. The pictures of garbage trucks are slightly outdated--they don't have the newer kinds of trucks with the arms on the sides, but its still a winner of a book.

Our 3 year old grandson LOVES this book. I wish it were bigger and longer, but he is happy with it just the way it is.

Theses pictures inside are from the seventies and a lot of info is totally obsolete. It was kinda nostalgic for me tho and it made me laugh.

Small easy read paper back book about garbage trucks. Very outdated! Needs a serious update. I can’t believe it’s from 2005. It looks more like from the 80s or 70s.My son adores garbage trucks and wants to read this over and over. I just wish it was more accurate because I can’t get rid of it now!

Perfect for my 4.5 year old boy. Lots of pictures and the reading is nice and short. I am currently looking to buy other books for my child by the same author.

My two year old loves garbage trucks and loves the show “trash truck” on Netflix. This was a great stocking stuffer and reads it over and over again. He now knows the names of all the different parts of the truck. Very educational. I love books that have photographs over illustrations for babies & toddlers.

Great book for my Grandson who is mad about garbage trucks. Arrived day after ordering. Don't know how you do it.

Very disappointed. Small book few pages and way overpriced! Thank goodness I only bought the paperback version as the hardback would be extremely poor value.
