American Made [Blu-ray] [2017]

seen this a couple of times now but still enjoy playing it

One of the Tom films that most people say "American what?" It's a great story based on a true story. Directed well, and moves at a fast pace. Tom is doing his normal flying stuff lolThe print is great, and the sound is excellent.

Actually, I think Tom Cruise is underrated as an actor. He always carries a film well. This was a cross between Top Gun & Narcos. Based on a true story, with no doubt some artistic licence thrown in. I found the movie very entertaining & interesting.

An interesting plot and, just as with Collateral, not the usual sort of role he plays. I enjoyed every moment.

A great movie and another to add to my collection. I like Tom Cruise first seeing him in Risky Business with the stunning Rebecca De Mornay way back in my teens. This is an edgy high octane fuelled trip into privateer jet drug work. I always wondered how they got so much '' Yeyo " into America from Bogota. 😉

Acting poor with too much noise

This film was truely entertaining and captures the political implications of drug trafficking in this era of time and gives you the dark history of the CIA without boring you to death. I'm sure the American government didn't appreciate this film as it's based on a true story. Although you connect with the main character and he was, through out the film you can't help but wonder at all the people whose lives have been destroyed by drugs. From the poor farmers to the ones destroying their brain cells on it. There will always be someone willing to make a profit out of someone eles misfortune or misery for money. I'm sure the American government didn't put the confiscated millions to a charitable good cause either.

I really enjoyed this film and thought Tom Cruise was ideal for the lead role of a bored airline pilot who ends up working for both the CIA and the drug barons of Columbia.I didn't know a great deal about the story behind the film and having watched it I assumed a lot of it was over exaggerated but apparently a lot was true. When you watch it you'll realise how crazy this is!On Blu-Ray it looks fantastic and the sound is also great.This is one of the best films I've watched this year, highly recommended.I hope you find my review helpful.
