Best Bread Knife Ever!
I ordered this knife as a gift for my wife. She bakes allot of bread now and has been for the last couple of years. Her other bread knife became dull from constant use and we had it professionally sharpened only once due to the cost. So I started looking for another knife that wouldn’t dull so quickly and would cut our bread more uniformly when slicing. I came across this ad for a bread knife that was exactly what my wife had mentioned was her ideal bread knife. After some research and many models similar to it, I decided on this one. It had three replacement blades and all the hardware needed to maintain its integrity as far as performance. So I purchased it. My wife is left handed and I’m right handed. The best thing about the knife is that it’s ambidextrous so we can both own one. With little pressure and full back and forth strokes, it’s cuts any bread nice and clean with a straight edge. But if you use too much pressure on your bread while cutting, like any thin blade, it will curve your cut as you slice downward into your loaf. Just let the blade do the work I always say. This knife is made of sturdy wood with good quality blades. And as long as your cutting surface is like mine [wood bread cutting board], your blades should stay sharp for a very long time. Not what I expected
I have a bread slicing guide that I put a loaf of bread in and use a bread knife to cut the slices evenly. lately I have been getting loafs that are wider than the guide. I saw this on Amazon and thought the back of it would be a guide to do perfect slices. It might work if I wanted 2 inch thick slices. I butchered a whole loaf of sour dough bread and never got an even slice. for one thing the blades is to thin and will not stay straight. I can do better with my regular bread knife. One plus is that the blade is sharp.

Amazing cutting experience
I highly recommend this knife after I been using it now for a while. As a home baker I do test bread knives pretty often. I was skeptical about this one, but it is pretty amazing on hard crust breads like sourdough bread or rye, almost cuts the crust like butter, incredible... truly amazing experience, I do not think I will go back to the normal handle bread knife for hard crust breads.I have to admit that the handle itself is not the most comfortable in the world, takes some adjusting to it, just feels different to cu bread with this knife... but after a while... you will love it.Highly recommended.

Doesn't last long
Screws become loose. I tighten them cut bread and they are loose again. The screws are stripped.

Cuts smoothly
Great knife for cutting crusty breads. Works decent on white bread, but really best for those with a harder crust.The handle is a little uncomfortable at first, takes some getting used to, so there is room for improvement in that area.The knife does cut smoothly and easily through the loaf without smashing it or shredding it as similar knife I once had did.Over all this is a great bread knife with a bad handle, but I do recommend it.

The wood quality is bad started chipping off
I don’t recommend this knife. The wood started chipping off with the first use.

Poor tension
I have owned several bow knives but this is the worse. The blade flexes as you are cutting so not getting clean slices. Wobbly blade. Would not recommend.
