Little Giant Articulating Ladder Tool Tray Accessory, 15047-002

I picked up the Little Giant Articulating Ladder Tool Tray (Model 15047-002) alongside my M17 Dark Horse 2.0, and I honestly can't imagine using the ladder without it now. Installation was a breeze. It snapped right onto the Dark Horse 2.0 ladder (https://amzn.to/4tgr7Ix ) with zero fuss — no tools needed, no confusing steps, just mount it and you're good to go. Took maybe a minute. The first thing I noticed when I pulled it out of the box was how lightweight it is, and I'll admit I had a brief moment of doubt. Then I actually felt the plastic — this thing is thick and solid. It's clearly built to work, not just look the part. I've loaded it up with pliers, a drill, cable spools, and assorted hardware without a second thought. It holds heavy tools just fine and nothing flexes. The standout feature for me is the magnetic section built into one of the tray compartments. As a low voltage installer, I'm constantly working with screws, bit tips, and small metal fittings that love to roll off of things and disappear into drop ceilings forever. Having a magnetic area to toss those little parts onto while I'm working up on the ladder is incredibly handy. I'm not fishing around in my pockets or climbing down every two minutes to grab something. If you're using a Dark Horse 2.0 for work — especially in the trades — just add this to your cart at the same time. It's lightweight, tough, and the magnetic tray section alone makes it worth the money. This should really be a standard inclusion with the ladder.

Ok. Its true, this is not compatible with the OG of Little Giant Ladders which is what I have had approx 15+ years and it is still as good and functional as when it was new. My only complaint was lack of a tool caddy or tray and then I saw this product. “Not Compatible” well, it will work. I had to drill three holes and its sturdy and ladder will still raise & lower and fold for storage. So yeah, it can work with the original ladder if you want it to.

Works well! It was a little difficult to get attached, but that just means it’s connected really well once you get it on.

They are well made and fit perfectly, mmake moving my ladder alot easier

Very handy, it fit right in where it was supposed to. It is strong enough to support the weight of tools but it doesn't hold a drill very securely, and there is no way to hold more than one tool (like a drill and a nut driver). It saves me a bunch of steps up and down the ladder. It loses a star becuase it seems like it should cost about 1/2 what it does.

This is an invaluable addition! It's so nice to be at the top of the ladder, changing a light bulb or needing a place to put a screw or keep a tool and not have to fumble around with putting on a belt or things in your pocket… I would highly recommend this to anyone, you will NOT be sorry you got it! Great upgrade from those removable hanging ladde bags I was using before. I didn't realize this was a permanent installation. I thought it snapped on and off when you put the ladder away. Nope, it stays affixed to the ladder which I actually prefer. It doesn't move around and the installation took maybe 2 minutes. The whole thing is really solid and doesn't feel cheap at all. The slots are all pretty well thought out too. No wasted space.

The best in the business. If you can afford it,the fiberglass ladder is the way to go. So much lighter.

Bought this for a friend. Seemed strong. Came packaged nicely. Would buy again if required.
