I wanted to like this, but unfortunately the negatives outweigh the positives for me. The installation was easy in my 2019 4Runner, and finding a location for the module was the most difficult part. Bluetooth was easy to pair, Android Auto started immediately, navigation, Google Assistant and Spotify worked without issue. However, the sound quality was noticeably worse than when Bluetooth was directly connected to the head unit, almost crackly. The resolution of the 4Runner's head unit is really subpar for this unit/probably any Android Auto units. And lastly, the time it takes for Android Auto to connect and then start playing music (while automatic) was unacceptably long. I literally unplugged it almost immediately after installing it, after trying to adjust the settings to work better. If you are looking for stock / OEM Android Auto, this may be your best choice. However, I will be looking into a head unit replacement, which will unfortunately be more expensive, but hopefully more seamless operation.

Item has a great design perfect for small car spaces. Works just as advertised. Happy with purchase.
