The media could not be loaded.  The design of this pillowcase is very smart because the zipper isn’t on the end of the pillow, it’s about 5 inches in. The advantage of this is that if you were sleeping and your hair is near the end of the pillow, it will be soft because the zipper isn’t there. In addition, there is a small amount of material covering the zipper to avoid any scratchiness. I got the standard case and it fits the pillow perfectly not too tight not too big highly recommend it.

This seems like a sturdy, quality pillow protector! It came neatly packaged & is thick (in a good way, it's not thin material) with a nice hidden zipper that works well, zips smoothly, & doesn't snag as your zipping it. :) The only odd thing is there's no label inside of it stating that it's indeed "100% unbleached cotton" which kind of makes me a teeny bit skeptical & wondering if it truly is 100% unbleached cotton since EVERYTHING has a tag on it nowadays stating its fabric ingredients. There is a tag inside of it, but it doesn't state on it what this pillow protector is made of (which matters to me, because I DON'T want any bedding made of polyester...I specifically choose cotton as much as possible for everything & I also liked/preferred that it said in the ad that it was "UNBLEACHED" cotton...that's great!!) The only place it says it is cotton is on the packaging it came in, but the packaging is probably not made by who manufactured the pillow cover (the tag inside the pillow cover says "made in China" but in the Amazon advertisement it says it's a "USA based company." So I guess a U.S. company buys these pillow covers from China & packages them up & sells them, which is like a lot of products, so that's nothing new...at least you're helping an American business! :) I'm just surprised there isn't a label inside the actual pillow cover stating what it's made of is all. That's my only suggestion for the U.S. distributor of this pillow cover...to ask that their manufacturer to put a tag in it stating that it's truly "100% unbleached cotton." :) (It DOES feel like cotton & not polyester, but it's hard to tell nowadays with all the cotton/polyester blended fabrics out there.) Overall, as long as it truly is "100% unbleached cotton" it seems like a really nice pillow protector & well made & well sewn that will last a long time! :)

This ARGOOSE Home Textiles, AllergyCare 100% Cotton, Dust Mite Allergen Proof cover is an excellent pillow encasement, that reduces the amount of dust that can reach your face from inside your pillow, as it effectively works as a filter. This is a good size for a fat queen pillow, with a well sewn zipper. The cotton fabric is slightly crinkly feeling and lightweight, with a very very fine texture- almost like paper, but actually comfortable and not noisy under a pillowcase. Despite the lightweight nature of the fabric, this feels strong and won't rip or anything like that. This case is great for travel use for hygiene as well as for general home use.

I'm very happy with these. Well-priced, quality zipper, and appear to be well-constructed.I'm not sure why other reviewers are dinging these for not being soft. These are pillow protectors, not pillow cases. If your head is coming into contact with these while you're using them, well, you're using them wrong.RECOMMENDED.

These are very well made. The edges are double stitched, the zipper is about four inches in from the edge, and there is a baffle covering the zipper. Per the tag, they are made in China.The fabric is literally breathable - if I put it up to my mouth and exhale hard I can get air through. This is the right weave to stop dust mites but not get sweaty.The instructions say to wash these on warm (160), but I wash them on hot (because bedding) and except for a little bit of puckering they don't seem to mind.(Note: The item page picture shows the zipper on the edge. This is the positioning for the polyester version, which I also have, in travel size. I suspect these pictures were accidentally swapped.)
